History

Established in 2015.

Lalita Design LLC was started in Tucson, Arizona by Glass Artist Lalita Kuhn. Articles of Organization for Lalita Design LLC were approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission in June 2015 and the website, lal​i​tade​sign​.com, became active in September 2015. Lalita designs, hand-​makes and sells fashion jewelry made from ZigZag shaped strips of dichroic glass.

Business Owner

Lalita began learning and experimenting with fusing, slumping and forming art glass in the fall of 2013. She received her training from Jennifer & Andy Cole of Expressions Art Glass in Tucson, Arizona. After acquiring her first glass kiln in February 2015, she turned her talents toward designing jewelry with ZigZag shaped strips of dichroic glass. She says glass is a continually changing and challenging art medium. There is always a process that needs perfecting or a design to be tweaked. She enjoys working with art glass and loves seeing her designs worn and enjoyed by others.
