Marriage and Communication Coaching

My husband and I saw Paul for about 3 months. He is not a typical counselor, asking about your past, recounting arguments and discussing them, etc. Paul is more of a coach, helping couples to work on their communication skills. He teaches couples various techniques which, when applied, are effective. You’ve got to do your part though, as with any counseling. It won’t work if you don’t apply the teachings. He is kind, non-​judgmental, and flexible. He goes above and beyond (coming to our house right away at the last minute during a crisis, having appointments at our house, and late night (8:00 p.m.) Skype sessions). It is evident that Paul truly cares about his clients and considers this a labor of love. That being said, I don’t think it is a type of therapy that works for all couples. It doesn’t address deeper issues, only teaches you how to communicate and make lifestyle changes. I think it would work best in conjunction with traditional therapy. However, if you need to know how to communicate more effectively, Paul is your guy!

Pinhas has an amazing talent for solving all kinds of relationship problems.
I initially talked to him because my relationship with my business partner, who we had been friends, had not been working. It was really frustrating as we were getting no where. Of course our work was suffering and our friendship was going down in the tubes. We got on the call with Pinhas (I hadn’t met him until a year after our session. You can talk to him over the phone or over Skype) and he listened to both of us and made sure we were both heard. We also did one on one session and he was really great to take a neutral position so both of our issues with the other were heard.
In the end our business didn’t survive but our friendship lasted and I grew a lot during this time as a person. Relationships are a headache sometimes and it’s great to know you can go to someone like Pinhas who could really untangle a lot of things that might look like a complete dead end.
