History

Established in 1947.

Harold McGhee came to Tucson in ’46 after discharge from the Navy in WWII, and took over his father’s small insurance practice Howell-​Drachman Insurance. In 1996 his son Sean, and current owner, bought the agency and expanded its expertise in the areas of personal and commercial property and liability insurance. McGhee Insurance is consistently staffed with family and long-​term employees, and is looking to expand its reach throughoutTucson and the surrounding areas.

Sean McGhee bought the business from his father in 1996. He specializes in helping fellow business-​owners keep their businesses insured and bonded properly, but he can help out with personal lines as well.
