I was really curious as to what this place looks like inside. So when hubby needed to get something from next door my son and i ventured into this place while we wait for him. First impression was, «why is this place still open for business?» the store is in total disarray, there’s boxes everywhere, there’s nothing really in this establishment that really says«i’m selling oriental goodies come spend your money here» This store needs to be organized and get it well stocked. It also needs cleaning, a lot of cleaning. First impressions aside, the lady that works here is very friendly.

Excellent selection of thai produce staples(lemongrass galanga kaffir chili basil etc). I also saw the regular selection of dry pasta and bulk rice. You wont find much else, making this more of a specialty stainless shop. It sure beats the drive to lee lees from downtown. The proprietor was friendly and personable.

Moan’s is a small, dank, Chinese market near the airforce base. There is not really a good selection of noodles, produce, or for that matter anything. You might find something here in a pinch, but for the most part you are better off going to Grant/Stone Market, 17th St., or the G-L.
