Individuals: Portraits and drawings are a beautiful way to celebrate a birthday, show off a pet, capture a family moment, or honor a loved one’s passing.

Businesses: My chalkboard and hand painted signs give your business a creative, professional look. I design based on the theme and feel of your business, incorporating your logos, fonts, and graphics. Signs can be permanent or temporary.

Events: Hand painted signs are a beautiful touch to your wedding, birthday, or other special event. I use any colors or images important to you and can do a variety of styles from classy and elegant to fun and funky!

History

Established in 2013.

I started doing business as Modern Aquarian Art & Design in October 2013 after learning that many businesses in the Tucson area were having trouble finding a local artist for their menus and signs. I had always loved hand lettering and illustrating, and was happy to find that my services were in such demand! I started by doing just one chalkboard menu, but my business has quickly expanded to offer a variety of artistic services. I love turning my client’s ideas into a reality!

Business Owner

I grew up in a college town in South Carolina with 11 acres and a creek in the backyard. When I wasn’t following the creek as far as I could, I was drawing. I attended Clemson University and graduated in the top 1% of my class. In 2009, I left the green hills of the southeast for the Tucson desert to pursue a Masters Degree in Higher Education. But a few years into the field, I decided there was nothing I wanted to do more than draw, so I left the University to start my own artistic services business. Now I get to make people happy and businesses successful with art!
