The merchants offer fine & modern art, jewelry, fair trade & organic clothing, mosaics, murals, photography, there’s even a doggie bakery!

History

Established in 2011.

The New Monterey Court began as a vision of creating a new and exciting destination for the arts in Tucson. Working with the footprint of an historic motor court the Monterey Court has blossomed into a space for artists & creative people to work, show, and sell their creations in an intimate space of their own.

The re-construction of the spaces took approximately 15 months to complete with the first opening in September of 2011 and the final opening of the café & bar in May of 2012.

Meet the Business Owner

Greg H.

Business Owner

Greg has been space making in Tucson & Washington state since 1980. As owner of Dwellings — a general contracting business– and previous owner of a restaurant, he has chosen to combine the two endeavors for the first time in the Monterey Court. «I have always enjoyed taking original and unique spaces and re-purposing them for my clients. Here I had an opportunity to use my creativity not only for myself but for the good of the community I call home.»
