So, we cone in here at least once a week to pick up juice for my fiancée’s vaporizers. We bought him a new one and it was 4 days later and the battery got stuck. We took it back in and the guy wasn’t interested in taking care of the issue or standing behind the product. The particular guy is always rude. We waited and took it back later and the guy we deal with often took care of it. I’m tired of this rude guy and getting hit or miss service. If it doesn’t stop we will start using someone else.

I’ve been coming to this location for quite awhile and it’s five minutes from my house. The atmosphere hasn’t changed for as long as I’ve been coming here(7+ years). They carry your standard glass water pipes and they have a pretty good selection of regular pipes. Although I’ve never seen many unique pieces here, they’ve always stayed relatively the same. The thing that bothers me most are the employees. Every time I come in I feel I’m being watched the entire time, like I’m going to steal something. I feel like I’m bothering them if I have questions or want to look at something up close so most of the time I never ask them for anything. I prefer the 4th Ave location, the employees there are more friendly!

This smoke shop is your typical, run of the mill smoke shop. They have a pretty good selection of merchandise. The staff are usually pretty attentive and honest about products they like and dislike. I live right around the corner from this particular shop so, for me, it’s fast and convenient. The shop usually smells nice and is pretty clean.

I’m writing this for a friend. She went in not even a week ago and bought an e-cig for 40, will they didn’t even ask her what her needs were for the e-cig; like how much you smoke, do you like heavy hits, ect… Well she tried to take it back today and they won’t even help her out. They said no re-turns. On top of it they sold her a Hotvape, Hotvape doesn’t even come with a warranty at all. Freedom at lease will give a 30 day on there battier and tanks. I don’t even like freedom smoke, but they will at lease talk to you and see what fits you in your every day use. I go to SouthWest smoke now and there way better than both of theses shops.

I shop here for the cigars. They have a walk-in humidor, and have the cigars I like for reasonable prices. The guys that work here are half-stoner types, but they are nice and usually offer to cut the cigars for me. They have a lot of pipes in glass cases and behind the counters, flavored cigarettes, lighters, humidors, and even pepper spray. They must get a lot of shoplifters, though, since they are sometimes suspicious of customers.

Please note I am reviewing this particular Moon smoke shop location. This one is closer to my house though I much prefer the 4th ave location. That Moon smoke shop is awesome. Now onto my review of this location. I walked in here once and the service was ok. I wasn’t given a reciept and wasn’t able to return the particular product that I had purchased. The guy there was helpful though he was rushing everyone. The second time, as I walk into the door to purchase some cherry cloves, I hear the guys working there yelling out homphobic words. I don’t know if they realize this but a lot of LGBT people frequent their locations. So, it’s probably not the wisest thing to do… not to mention it’s not very nice. Anyway, I thought to myself that this has got to be them messing around. Well this messing around happened for a few min and they started to include me in it. One of them said to me, «don’t worry buddy this F%# will help you out» and this behavior continued. I just looked at them and shook my head as I took a look around the store. I wanted to take some time in there but I really hate that kind of dumb, derogatory talk that insecure guys engage in. Plus, it was making another person in the store very uncomfortable as well. I really wanted my cherry cloves and I had walked to the store anyway. So I purchased them. They were more expensive than walgreens or convinience stores I’ve seen them in. I left and was happy to get out of there. Both visits were really pathetic which is sad. I was happy to see a moon shop open on the east side. A friend of mine says there is another locally owned smoke shop on the east side, so I will find it and review it here for my fellow Unilocalers.
