I am so extremely grateful to Nicolosi movers for moving my dad from Tucson to Phoenix. They were professional, polite, courteous and extremely helpful.
You won’t go wrong hiring them to handle your move.

I’m not going to wax poetic about this, because I intend to put the matter behind me as I try and heal.
I was completely humiliated by the two men who came to do… or rather NOT do… my move. I had told this company ahead of time that I am a disabled veteran that suffers chronic pain and that I was unsure what kind of help I would even need to get the move completed. Rather than even making an attempt at compromising with me, these people refused to even move the large items in my front room, citing the cleanliness of my home and embarrassing me in front of a friend.
Hate to tell you… people with persistent chronic pain just *might* have problems with doing housework. If I could rate zero stars, I would. May they never experience issues like mine, and may their family members never have someone treat them as shabbily and arrogantly as was done to me today. Jack couldn’t even be bothered with calling me back! Suddenly, the othr company I was thinking about using doesn’t seem as bad.

An honest, careful mover that is also a local family business. What a nice change from prior experience. So many local movers are just outfits who hire strong looking young men and say «here, now you are a mover.» Not these crews. I really felt like I was working with folks who treated this as a specialty career, whether it was packing items, wrapping furniture, or maneuvering through tricky narrow doorways. Even just seeing the tight efficiency with which they loaded the truck was impressive (and I’ve moved a LOT).
If I have any complaint at all, it is that they are TOO careful! I had boxed all my stuff, or so I thought, but they wanted to wrap and box all my lamps (I had not done that) plus wrap almost everything that wasn’t nailed down in blankets and plastic. I suppose you pay for that in labor time and in some ways it seemed like overkill, yet here I am settled in with not a single broken or missing item. I don’t think complaining about «too much care» is a fair reason to knock any points off, so I give these guys five stars.

I, have to say was impressed from the first phone call. Connie, answered the call, very personable and helpful made you feel at ease. Second encounter was with the owner Jack, Senior. Very nice man gave a quote and was so reasonable. Had 2 different companies come give quotes, first company that came… was afraid for my life, Very shady people. the second company was ok, He actual recommend Nicolosi Moving Company. Jack went out of his way to save us money, let me have some gently used boxes. The Third encounter was with the movers Jack Jr. And Jerry. All I have to say is hard workers. They were fast and efficient. Very careful with our stuff. I would highly recommend this moving company to anyone. I’ve heard horror stories of moving companies of breaking stuff damage furniture. Happy to say everything was in tacked :) !! Thank you Nicolosi Moving Company.

Fair pricing, FAST workers, helpful, respectful, and EFFICIENT! I will use them and refer them as often as I can. A fabulous group of people from the office manager, Connie, to Eric, Chris, Jack Sr. and Jack Jr. — all amazingly efficient and positive and helpful.

Dear Jack at Nicolosi Moving and Storage,
Your movers and son (Jack Jr) broke my desk. When I pointed this out, and they were unable to fix the desk, Jack Jr said he would stop by at noon the next day with a friend to repair the desk. Based on the good Unilocal reviews, but against my better judgement, I paid your company in full when Jack Jr left. Never mind that I was essentially billed for him attempting to fix the desk. Jack Jr never came back to repair the desk. When my wife called you, you said you were unaware of this agreement, and would call her back. You never called her back. I waited for 1 week for a phone call or any sign you would make this right. You failed to do so.
In case you were concerned, I fixed the desk myself. It took about an hour and $ 6 in hardware from Lowe’s. Feel free to reimburse for my time and expense whenever it suits you. I suspect I may be waiting for awhile…

EDIT: Jack actually got back to me and reimbursed me for the time and materials required to fix the desk. Impressive! Use these guys for your moves to/​from/​around Tucson!

Their was a time that I would have given Nicolosi 5 stars, in fact this last move is the third time I have used them with the previous two times me being nothing but 100% satisfied. Unfortunately due to this last move I will not use them again, and would caution future customers.
If you don’t want to read a long post here is the short version: If you decide to use Nicolosi I would strongly recommend you make sure you get the cost in writing before hand and make sure all your stuff is packed in secure boxes, i.e. fully taped shut. Maybe this is common sense but being the third time I used them I felt I could trust them and didn’t do this myself.
The move seemed to go fine, as with the previous two times the movers were nice seemed to take care of my belongings and I really had no issues until everything was finished.
Being the third time I had used them I made the assumption that the cost was going to be roughly the same as my previous two moves as I have not bought any new furniture or items that would increase the amount of work. To my surprise the fee was increased by 68% over my previous two moves. I understand that costs go up and in the last year and a half since I moved would expect some sort of increase but that seems extensive. While annoying this wasn’t alone what made me decide to post a negative review as I didn’t discuss rates prior to the move, I made an assumption and I shouldn’t have, however I do feel that they should have warned me that they drastically increased their rates since my last move.
What made me decide to post my review was that as I was unpacking I noticed some missing items. I gave the movers the benefit of the doubt and waited until I fully unpacked all my boxes to be sure I hadn’t simply misplaced them or my memory of where I had packed them been incorrect but now that I am done they are for sure not here. I have no proof they were taken by the mover (s) but called Nicolosi to inform him of the missing items. I understand not much can be done, its my word against theirs and Nicolosi proceeded to tell me he will mention this to them but he has worked with these guys for a long time and trusts that they would not take anything, basically calling me a liar. I understand and to a degree respect his support of his employees, as I said I have no proof and unless we all take polygraph tests, which I am willing to do, there really is no way for him to know the truth. That being said I feel future customers should be warned. In my experience the vast majority of the guys at Nicolosi are good hard working people, but it only takes one making a bad decision to ruin the whole companies reputation with someone.
So again in short, I am not saying 100% do not use these guys. If you do just make sure you have the costs up front and make sure all your belongings are secure and watch them. I hope this helps potential customers, I tried to be as fair as I could to the hard working guys there while warning people that at least one person who works for them cannot be trusted, unfortunately I don’t know who. PS, the previous two times I used Nicolosi they had a friendly lady who answered the phones and did all the scheduling etc. That seems to have changed as well and not for the better.

The Nicolosi team was very responsive to my early questions and was one of the few companies that came to my home in order to provide an accurate estimate. The day of the move the team arrived exactly on-​time and the team was quick to start. All items were treated as if they were their own and the entire move went off exceeding my expectations.

Great service and definitely the best moving experience I’ve ever had! We moved across town from one condo to another, and the team was fantastic. They had to go up and down two flights of stairs on both sides of the moves, and were efficient and everything was setup perfectly. The bedroom they had to move into had a very narrow entrance, but the team was able to get everything in without blemishing any of the furniture or the walls. Another moving company I had used a few years ago damaged both the door frame and the dry wall moving just a desk into the same room. I highly recommend using Nicolosi for any move!

These guys were fantastic! They confirmed their arrival in advance and were on-​time, very hard working, honest, professional and exceeded all of my expectations! They moved us from a 5 bedroom, 2 story home to another 5 bedroom, 2 story home and made it look easy. I have hired other companies in the past who were cheaper but they were lazy and took a lot more time, which ended up costing us more in the end and they broke stuff. These guys were the complete opposite and are worth every penny! They stayed true to their quote. They treated our things respectfully and were very easy to work with. Moving can be such a stressful event in your life and they made it so easy for us. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a moving company. Thank you Nicolosi Movers!!!

These guys were on-​time and on-​budget (what they quoted). On top of this, the movers were very friendly & trustworthy, and they went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied with the service. What more could you ask for from a moving company? I would go with Nicolosi again the next time I move.

Best moving experience ever. The three guys were efficient and experienced. They moved our home quickly and the price quote I received over the phone was accurate to what I actually paid at the end. Everything was moved without damage. I would definitely use them again and recommend to friends.

Best moving experience ever! Moved my mom today and the thought of uprooting from her home of 20 years was stressfull enough but your team (Tim and Ray) were wonderful and put my mom and I at ease. Fast, considerate, careful, and respectful of the history that they were moving. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

Despite an initial miscommunication about scheduling, overall, I was impressed with this moving company. The movers were clean-​cut, professional and careful with my items. Nothing got damaged. They showed up on time and completed the job within the time stated in the estimate. My move was on the small side, but the price they charged was reasonable. Customer satisfaction is a top priority for this family business. If ever I do another in-​town move, I will contact Nicolosi.

Great job. Very timely in arrival and very professional. Very fast moving yet very careful with our stuff helped to assemble items and offered suggestions while u packing. Competitively priced and worth every penny. Used them twice and service is consistent.

When I need to move, I call Nicolosi. They’ve moved me once, my mother once, and my office twice. They are lightening fast and get the job done right. Their prices are fair and I’ve even gotten a discount for being Italian! Highly recommended local service.

NEVER, NEVER use this company, you would be better off picking up a couple of homeless guys and having them do your move.
The owner told me it wouldn’t exceed $ 1800, then it ended up being $ 2,400, as he forgot about the two storage sheds in the yard.
They smoked in the home we were leaving and just flicked their ashes into the bathtub.
They ate food out of my refrigerator without asking, I would have let them eat whatever they wanted if they had just asked.
They broke the top of the kitchen island in the old house
I was told that they could move my deep freezer loaded, it has been a week since the move and I found food from my freezer in my washing machine.
They charged me for packing materials, which would normally be o.k., but they used all of my tape and markers, I thought this was a real crappy thing to do.
They almost left a lot of my husbands tools from the shed he used as a work shop, we found some of his expensive tools just thrown in the dirt.
There were other little things but I think this is enough to warn you of the despicable level of professionalism this company portrays.
