Office Depot

This stores computer diagnostic service is either incompetent, unethical, or both. Told me my system was full of malware which was why it was running so slow. Told them I was using the recommended Malwarebytes program from day 1. They told me they always get computers full of malware that use that program.
Turns out the truth is — my motherboard was going out. Not 1 virus or malware in my system.
Don’t trash someones program just because you don’t have your act together.

JACOB BEYER is the Man, he was the TECH working the night I stopped in for some help regarding my laptops inability to pick up certain wi-​fi connections as I travel around the country working on my feature film. Once I told Jacob my machines symptoms, he assured me that he had the answer, which it sounded like he did. So I purchased a simple item for about $ 50 dollars, he installed/​downloaded for me then ran a computer clean up scan for me. And a week or so later I can confirm that the adapter we installed absolutely ended up working, thanks again Jacob.

Staples on Broadway screwed up and Office Depot got our business instead. I manage a small company and we need inexpensive supplies and we need them to be in stock when they say they are in stock. Staples never had anything in stock even when their online store said it was in stock and they would confirm it in their store (although they never could figure out why they couldn’t find what their system said was supposed to be in stock). I walked out, drove a couple of miles, and, voila… Office Depot. Everything Staples didn’t have, they had and much cheaper. I was happy, our budget was happy and now, I am hoping Office Depot is happy with their newest customer. Thanks, Office Depot!

So I’ve been going here for several years and so far, so good :-)
The staff is professional, polite, and helpful. They have a good selection and I can almost always find everything I need, and for reasonable prices.
There’s plenty of parking in an easy to navigate parking lot.
The best part is they carry out the heavy items to your car for you, so if you’re a weakling like me who can barely lift 20 lbs without falling over, it’s so helpful!
On top of that, the guys who carry out the heavier items don’t complain about doing it! They’re nice and friendly, which is so very much appreciated!
I’ll keep going here unless they give me a reason not to.

This review is simply for a quick pop in to buy a ream of paper. Granted, I came in at 7 PM on a Friday, the store was dead, and two people greeted me promptly. I asked for the paper and was pointed to a section, however, they had a sale near the door for 600+ reams of copy paper for $ 4. Wow! So I bought that and left. I was in the store maybe 2 minutes. I’ll be back again. Seems like a great place!

Exactly that A-OK…why because you really don’t get help unless you literally almost drag an employee or shout at them (by shouting I mean talking loudly while still smiling! Promise!), however you find what you need for your business needs. Some of it is definitely overpriced however you get in and out and get exactly what you need.

The Technology Department is one of the nicest that I’ve ever seen. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. This is what I’m talking about when I talk about America.

I never thought I would get excited about an office supply store, but after two miracles in customer service, I am IMPRESSED with Office Depot on Speedway! Specifically:
1. Last summer: hot day, groceries in the car, along with the Lexmark I was ready to drop-​kick. I had done my research and was down to 2 possible printers. I ran into the store and was immediately greeted. I told the staff member exactly what I wanted to do — exchange the Lexmark (they were offering $ 50 trade-​in) for one of two specific printers, and groceries in car so it has to be fast! He quickly answered the «which one should I get» question, grabbed the right printer, took it up front and sent me to my car to get the old one, and the whole transaction was done in under 5 minutes. Ka-​chow.
2. A few days ago: I needed cheap copy paper, manila folders, stamp pads, and a non-​food treat for my 6-​year-​old for behaving well. I was immediately directed to the office supplies (staff took them to the counter for me) and the dollar rack, where we found the appropriate blinged-​out pen for my daughter at the right price ($ 2!) In, out in under 10 minutes with exactly what I needed. Ka-​chow.
Maybe I’m hitting the store at the right times, but I get the impression that this joint has a great manager with leadership skills, and the staff provided perfect service on two separate occasions. Obviously, I will be back!

So let’s be honest. It’s a corporate monster, how bad could it be. Well that depends on who is working. Sometimes I can’t find anyone, sometimes there are a slew of people willing to help. I wish things were a bit more consistent because it’s on the days when I’m short on time and can’t find the only thing I need that it seems as though nobody is around. Grrrrr.

My search for an office chair ended here. The selection of chairs were decent. I did find a very comfy chair. The staff was friendly. The sales clerk offered to help put my chair in my car. He also did it with a smile.

4 people in line and they have you go to the only non-​checkstand checkstand. I know everyone has a radio and ear-​piece. Get them to check me out… Please.

The staff is friendly and helpful, if not always knowledgeable. They’ve got everything you’d need from a business supply store and their rewards program is rather solid. They even have free wireless (you know, for when you’re hanging out in office depot working on a paper with your coffee and whatnot)

Good store. Helpful staff and a good amount of stock for most items.
