Ox Moving Services

This service was recommended to me by someone else, but I had a very unpleasant experience. There was one thing that I liked about them and that was that they wrapped all of my furniture very well so nothing got scratched or banged up. Other than that, the experience was negative. I paid for two movers, but 3 arrived. Two were very young (early adults) and one was older. This was okay, accept only the older gentleman worked very hard. The other two took a break every 20 minutes, literally. After mentioning it a time or two to the older gentleman who was in charge, I tried combating it myself by working alongside them. That did help some, but really I am not supposed to be a mother to the movers. On top of that, they packed the truck in the most ridiculous way possible, putting the boxes in first and then adding the furniture. This is opposite of how you are supposed to pack a truck to move.
I had them pick up additional boxes at a 2^nd location before taking everything to my new home. They couldn’t fit everything in because of their terrible packing job and we had to put some things in an additional vehicle. All of my belongings fit in a 3 bedroom home and I didn’t even have them move my living room couch set and one of the beds so a semi-​truck was really over-​sized to begin with.
This move should have taken 4 – 5 hours, but took over 9 with them so it cost me just as much as it would have if I had used one of their more expensive competitors. With the added stress of trying to get the movers to actually do their job, it was not worth it and I would never use them again. On top of that, one of my kitchen boxes was lost somewhere along the way. I’m not sure how you do that when everything that goes into the truck should have come back out.

Great job, reasonable p[rices, and professional movers. They did a lot of wrapping and squeezed everything in.

Nice folks, cancelled us the first time, then late the second; but they got the job done and seemed sincerely sorry about the various promised moving times being missed.

We had a very difficult move that required moving a 4^th floor apartment contents to another 4^th floor apartment in the next building. Katie, Andrew and Team did an amazing job, worked tirelessly for 12.5 hours on a Sunday, never losing their sense of humor or smile. They are efficient, professional, kind-​hearted and really listen to the needs of their client. By the end of the day everything was put back in the new apartment just as it had been in the old apartment. Simply AMAZING!!! I highly recommend them!!!

My mom used Andrew this past weekend for her move. As everyone knows MOVING IS STRESSFUL! I want to just say that Andrew & Tyler were delightful and made this move actually fun. Andrew’s singing kept the mood light and easy! Tyler graduated from high school the night before the move and he still made it to work on time and worked without one complaint! They were professional, efficient, and very timely. There were absolutely no issues! I will recommend Ox Moving to anyone!

Two men showed up not just on time, but early so that they did not use my hourly rate time preparing their equipment. Both were professional and friendly. I had never used a moving service before and was a bit leery, but they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and confident. I would readily use them again!

Incredible company with helpful, cheerful staff who work hard to make you happy. Its been a while since I’ve had service as great as theirs. I first used them last August and a move that I told them wouldn’t take longer than 3 hours turned into 7. I had no idea how much stuff I had But they were not phased, incredibly happy to help and even to the last minute worked hard and quickly. I was so impressed by their family-​like but very professional attitude toward their clients. I recommend them to everyone I hear is moving!
