Peppermint Jim

Peppermint Jim is the real deal when it comes to pure mint oils. I bought his peppermint oil at the Saturday farmer’s market in Scottsdale and my husband and I were VERY impressed. He instructed us to rub a little on the back of our necks. Within 5 minutes, we felt the most delightful tingle whilst our neck muscles melted any tension away. We immediately walked back to Jim’s booth to buy a bottle. I’ve been using it for so many things: a drop in my toothpaste, in the laundry, in my diffuser, cup of tea and even a drop on my tongue as a breath freshener. It’s awesome that he is the oldest independent mint farm in the U.S. I can tell he’s so passionate about what he does just be talking to him. I highly recommend you try his oils out!

just wanted to put in a positive word in on peppermint jim, and his team. i purchased a bottle of his peppermint oil, and have since found a half dozen uses for it. it is very helpful that it came with an information sheet showing some of the many uses. my girlfrind suffers from migraine headaches on occasion, and by using the oil when she feels it coming on, she is able to stop, or greatly decrease the effects of the headache. if only for this one application, it would be a near-​miracle for us, but like i said, we are finding many uses (neckache, backache, bath, insect repelant, etc.). thanx again for being so nice peppermint jim, and for you fantastic product!

Thanks to Unilocal and Isabella J., I was inspired to attend the Spring Bazaar at the Mercado San Agustin. It was there that I sniffed out Peppermint Jim’s. I’ve since been actively hoarding these products en mass.
Yes, I inhaled, and I have no regrets. And, well, I can’t stop inhaling.
One whiff, one single sniff, and that was it for me. I made my first purchase at the Mercado — and the next day I was at the New Life Health Center on Speedway buying more, by Wednesday of that week, yes, you guessed it, I was at another farmer’s market, and I bought even more. I also had my coworker load up. You can never have too much of a good thing. It’s impossible.
Currently Jim offers pure essential oil of peppermint (cooling) or spearmint (warming) in 5ml and 10 ml sizes, refreshing misters or sprays to use on you, or to freshen up a room, lip balms, lotions and candles. It’s all fabulous!
I’ve been a fan of essential oils for years, and I have to say, these are the best. Jim has a seven acre plot here in the Tucson Mountains, and from plant to oil (growth– cultivation-​distillation), Jim stewards the entire proces. It doesn’t get more handcrafted, or local than this.
I would like to note that among the myriad of things you can use peppermint oil for, it’s like an atom bomb on acne. It obliterates problem areas overnight — it literally flattens them. Nothing has ever worked this well for me. I’m practically bathing in this stuff — caution a little goes a long way.
Another hint, if you have cats that are scratching furniture, or peeing in your plants (welcome to my house) add about 15 drops of oil to 4 oz of water, or buy Jim’s mister, and spray around the perimeter of the area you want them to avoid. It works. (Caution do not use this oil on your pets).
This stuff is the best. You’re missing out if you don’t have a little (or a lot) of Peppermint Jim’s products in your life.

Just bought some products at Peppermint Jim’s at St Phillips Farmers Markets. These are the purest and strongest rmint oils I’ve ever experienced. Their fragrance is wonderful and I am very keen on herbal, flower & fruit fragances. I’ve been wanting to use more peppermint for wellness for quite some time, especially when I read that in Europe, people use peppermint oil as an herbal supplement b/​c of its many healing qualities. So I bought 4 products, 2 essential oils, 1 spray and 1 lip balm. I just love the stuff. While it certainly wasn’t cheap, I think it will prove to be a good investment in healthy living.
