Description

Specialties

Philabaum Glass specializes in hand made contemporary glass art, featuring gifts, awards, and sculpture. Our Gallery features over 50 established glass artists from around the country, including blown glass, cast glass, fused glass, solid glass, and a diverse display of jewelry.

We also have a working studio, where visitors may sit and watch the glassblowing process.

Tom Philabaum, co-owner and principle designer, fabricates large installations for home or business in blown, fused, slumped, cast, or dalle de verre glass.

History

Established in 1978.

In 1976, Tom was selling blown glass goblets at the street fairs, and Dabney was selling hand thrown pottery. Those were the days, and the humble beginnings. After marriage and babies, Philabaum Glass was born.

Tom’s art degrees from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and University of Arizona, served him well as the business and his art developed.
