Polson Debra MD

I made an appointment with Dr. Polson for today, May 18^th at 1:45. I went online to confirm the address and made my way to 3890 North Wilmot Road. I got there on time only to find out that her office is at 3040 North Swan. The receptionist told me that this happens often and they’ve asked Dr. Polson to clarify her office location for patients. She was very helpful and called ahead to let the office know what happened and that I was on my way. I arrived at her office and WAS TOLD THAT I WASN’T EVEN DOWN FOR AN APPOINTMENT. I was, needless to say, a tad upset. Now I work 7 pm until 7:30 am — so as of right now I’ve been up since 8 am yesterday morning (it’s a little past two)…didn’t want to miss this appointment that didn’t exist yet somehow got written down in two spots at my house so I wouldn’t forget. And there was no, «would you like to reschedule» or «I’m sorry, let’s get this straightened out». I am one pissed off woman. Won’t be calling for another appointment at this disorganized place.

She’s straight-​forward and no-​nonsense, which I appreciated.
Her staff, however, is unresponsive when it comes to paperwork that’s going elsewhere. Twice, I’ve had to request information twice before it was given to me or passed on to another physician on my behalf, even with the request filed in the official manner. (I had to change gastroenterologists when I changed my insurance coverage.) Because passing on the information affects my health, I do not appreciate their behavior.
