Perfect for all your local Tucson gifts! Housewares, cards, clothing, jewelry and more! I bought everyone something, plus nearly everything is handmade and one-​of-​a-​kind. A lot is handmade at their workshop in the back of the shop. The staff was sooo friendly and helpful, and helped me carry all my bounty to my car. Libby, the woman working, was so sweet and full of great conversation too. I highly recommend this shop! If you want local Tucson flare, don’t settle for crappy tourist places! Pop into pop cycle!

Every time we are down on 4^th Ave have to stop into Pop-Cycle…an eclectic shop full of fun, local, recycled art. If you are looking for a gift this shop is the place to find it, jewelry, wall art, nick-​nacks …no matter how much you want to spend they have you covered. The customer service is always wonderful too!!!

This is the most unique shop in Tucson! Totally cute stuff, all handmade. Great spot to gift-​shop.

we were down on 4^th ave for the biannual street fair and one of artists that have their stuff on display in pop-​cycle had a booth. i really liked their stuff, so we decided to walk into pop-​cycle and check out the entire store.
they really have an assortment of very unique items. among my favorites, was a lamp that was made out of a map and the moster hats!
in hawaii, we wear trucker hats to the beach and they had such cute ones, i had to buy one. i will definitely come back when i’m in tucson again.

Super friendly staff, and a great location for me to acquire those Arizona curios I want to hang on the wall or send home to people who have to deal with real winter.
If your taste falls a little more to the eclectic, the quirky, the conversation piece, well, you’ve found a stop for you. Jewelry, wearable accessories, housewares, art, barware (Stone IPA glasses!) and paper goods all crowd the shelves and racks here. (One of the racks is shaped like a rocketship.) In thinking about what I want to stock for Christmas or birthdays, especially for those far away, these are artful and fun celebrations of the Southwest.
Stuffed Jackalope mounted head? Fuzzy Sahuaro cactus with a mustache? You will one day be mine.

Love this boutique! I have popped in during street fairs and always thought, «hmmm, I need to come here and buy something one of these days.» Well, it finally happened! I love all of the Arizona/​Tucson items — great for visitors or just those of us who call the desert home. Their signature item seems to be the felt & googly-​eyed creatures/​cacti/​skulls that they place on hats and shirts. You will see these little adorable guys around town (like at Gio Taco). I picked up a great, quality cowboy shirt with a googly-​eyed bull, as well as a couple pieces of wall décor for a friend. The staff was so friendly and offered us free gift wrap! They use unique, fun paper and tie it up with a bow. Such a great experience!

After much soul searching, some social media mishaps, and some honest communication with owners, I’ve decided that two stars does not nearly do this Tucson local business justice. While I personally am a bit crafty and am known to get down and artsy when the mood strikes, I realize most people cannot come close to replicating the up-​cycled, kitschy, and quirky art featured at Pop Cycle. There’s really some beautiful stuff in here, although the average Tucsonan’s wages may not allow for frequent spending sprees. Maybe splurge a little and get that repurposed-​cabinet-​drawer-​turned sugar skull themed-​conversation piece for your living room?

Furniture, stuffed animlas heads on the wall, all kids of upcycled items, great ideas, and most of the things are made by three artists on site!
I can’t recommend dropping by here enough. Really quite possibly one of my favorite stores EVER.
It was very crowded because of the Street Fair, but they were still happy and friendly, and didn’t seem frustrated at all.
Prices were reasonable, and I can’t think of a better place to shop.
The next shop local day you should come here first, heck, any day you should come here first. not sure about parking because of the fair, but it looked like it was easy access.

There’s so much awesomeness packed into this shop that’s it’s challenging to even review this place! Key thing to know and appreciate about Pop-​Cycle is that this place is exclusively devoted to producing art and products from recycled materials, re-​used, products and refurbished goods. So, not only do the owners create and sell their own goods, but they also bring in local artists in who also use re-​purposed materials as their medium! This business takes recycle, reuse, reduce to a whole other level! Be prepared to spend a substantial amount of time perusing through the store, especially if you don’t have a specific shopping goal in mind. You’ll everything from clothing, to homemade cards made from recycled paper, to vintage door hangers, ornaments, decorative wall pieces and more! I couldn’t think of a cooler spot to buy some awesome Arizona memorabilia for visiting friends/family…because it’s not cheesy! The art here has a way of authentically depicting the Southwest. You really just need to make visit to unique shop on 4^th avenue and take in all it’s awesomeness in person. It’s almost impossible to describe every detail in a review. The owners are passionate and incredibly friendly. A fun little perk is their free gift wrap! I love the map paper! They’ve got holiday paper too.

I always get gifts for my mom from Pop-​Cycle since it’s exactly her style: colorful, practical items made fun by some very creative artists. Some of my favorite purchases have included their magnets (with some very funny pictures and sayings), jewelry (bottlecaps and felt bracelets), and stuffed animals (all very cute and quirky).
One of my favorite parts of the store is the woman who I always see at the register. I’m afraid I can never remember her name (as we always joke with each other since I was a daily visitor for a while), but she’s incredibly sweet and helps pick out awesome gifts and wrapping paper. I absolutely adore her! She makes me feel like I’m digging through a cool friend’s attic instead of shopping (which I usually hate to do).

What a fun name, right? Well that is just the tip of the iceberg!
The things I have actually bough here include a plaque with a vintage cowgirl pictured, a metal drummer figurine, and a vintage shirt with skull patches sewn on. If you need a gift for someone that has everything, just walk in and you will find ten things that person needs. And then ten more that you need… You get the idea.
The owners are super nice! They sometimes have a sweet dog in the store. Once, they gift wrapped something for my brother in an old map — How cool is that? Be aware this place gets crowded and it’s not huge to begin with.
You won’t find a cooler shop in Tucson!

This just in, sometimes I don’t always know what I want. Crazy, I know. I also don’t know everything. So when I finally explained that I was looking for a really unique hand made gift and explained who it was for and potentially where it was going, I was led to this secret world of goodies (not really, just an area behind the register that I never venture too) and immediately fell in love with this Wonder Woman themed mirror. Perfect gift for a person who really means a lot to me. It’s near impossible to describe, so just go over there and peep it for yourself. There were a number of different styles too.

There are four places I tend to stop when I need to come up with an interesting gift: Pop-​Cycle, Antigone, the Blue Willow gift shop, and Bohemia.
Pop-​Cycle is usually my first stop and is almost always successful, even if I’m just after cool trinkets. The most important thing is to go in with no expectations except awesomeness, though I will usually set a theme: «Today, I want to find gifts with jellyfish». There’s something here for every grown-​up, child, and hipster in your life. I personally find myself addicted to their little magnets and wooden wall hangings with images from childrens’ literature and although I’m not even slightly crafty, I wonder «Why didn’t I think of that?» as I look at these incredibly simple yet delightful ideas.
I find myself browsing through the store going «Look at this! And this!» I’ve been by frequently enough that the owners recognize me and even ask about my family with enough detail that I know they remember; that’s enough to make anyone feel special. There are a lot of little trinkets perfect for the budget-​conscious, and there are also bigger ticket items that I stare at and dream about. They’ll gift wrap your items in cool old maps, newspapers, and magazines, for an extra touch.
If you spend an excessive amount of time browsing Etsy, you will love this place.

I still had my Home for the Holidays gift certificate just waiting to be used. The problem is that I never know what to get at Pop-​cycle simply because I want everything. At this particular visit, my daughter mistakenly thought I’d be using my certificate to get something for her. Pshaw.
This is THE place to go for unique gifties! You can choose from journals, jewelry, bags, frames, decorations, scarves, you name it, and it’s all upcycled and awesome. Imagine walking into a real-​life version of your favorite Etsy shop and that’s what this place is like. I can spend a really lengthy amount of time here just looking through all the stuff.
If you have a hard-​to-​shop-​for person, go here and you’re sure to find a one of a kind gift!

I always have a blast browsing through the über-​creative, handmade, one-​of-​a-​kind gifts and laugh-​out-​loud greeting cards at Pop-​cycle.
On our first visit, my husband and I bought a Christmas tree ornament — a poinsettia made from an aluminum pop can. Hard to picture, maybe. But it really is a beautiful thing! What I love more: it’s so clever, interesting and, of course, eco-​friendly.
Pop-​cycle is sophisticated without being snooty. The women who work there are always smiling and eager to explain the origin of a particular piece or tell you about the artist.
A true original — and one of my favorite, must-​always-​visit shops on Fourth Avenue!

Handmade… recycled…and creative to boot! Popcycle is a little piece of green heaven.
I popped in a few times this summer and made it in for their birthday a few months ago. They were so excited to celebrate and even gave away free popsicles! Seriously, the employees are some of the most adorable women I’ve ever met. Even better, they’re artists themselves and make a number of the products found in Popcycle.
They have everything from handmade stools, to clothing, jewelry, and much more. I need to be careful with my spending in this store, because I have little self resolve to curb purchases!
