For several weeks a representative from Randstad called and left me messages stating they found my resume online and knew of GREAT OPPORTUNITIES they could present to me in employment. I kept ignoring the many calls.
Then one night I answered and listened to the rep. She said she is a head hunter that had numerous leads for Direct Full-​time employment. She gave a great sales pitch. I took the bait and allowed her to assist. This rep had no other leads than I did. LOL! REMEMBER… ONCE YOU ALLOW THEM TO ASSIST YOU, THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND.
You would think this company would have something great by how they talk. Their leads for jobs are nothing more than what you already find on the internet on your own.
Within ONE day, she was setting me up to meet with an HR person with a particular company. She sent me multiple tests to take. The downside of the whole thing is that she started to call multiple times throughout the day for several days even though I told her I was at work and could not talk all the time. I also started to receive a barrage of texts and emails. The experience became a little annoying.
I was told at the beginning of all of this that I was the one who made the decisions without any problem. If I didnt like something, we could move on to another GREAT opportunity. Once I decided I didnt want to proceed with the job she was trying to set me up with, suddenly I was kind of talked to like I was making a big mistake and then she wanted me to continue. I reluctantly said ok lets go ahead with it. Then she started to act like my best friend again. LOL!
Later that day she sent me an email saying we wouldnt move forward on this and she would be in touch if something else came up. Since then, I have not had any calls or further leads by Randstad. Strange how those GREAT other opportunities just dried up!
If these reps call you, dont answer your phone or call them back. You can do just as well without them and not have the hassles like I did for the last week. Bye, Bye best Friend.
