History

Established in 2015.

Reiki Master Kate Becker started Tucson-​based aromatherapy company Kate’s Magik in 2002 after moving to Tucson from New York City, creating reiki-​charged blends of pure essential oils for different healing and therapeutic purposes. She sought to unite the power of the mind and intention with the beautiful aromas of earth’s plants and flowers to help people make positive changes in their lives.

The Ritual store, says Becker, is the evolution of that mission into a new realm: «I wanted to create a healing space in Tucson where people could find anything they need for rituals and ceremonies as well as come and experience the power of essential oils and be inspired to enhance their wellbeing by incorporating them into their daily rituals.»

Becker, who has spent years working with many alternative-​healing modalities, is excited to combine aromatherapy, massage, reiki, and intention to create one-​of-​a-​kind individual experiences that serve to nurture all aspects of self.
