Sassy Cab

I’ve taken the Sassy Cab twice now (Feb 2015/​April 2015) and I can guarantee you will regret giving your money to this taxi company. My friend first recommended me this company because of their affordable prices (flat fee $ 20) for a ride from Tucson International Airport to any place near the UofA campus. I was sold on the price, but it was not worth it at all.
Punctuality: Both times when I used their service they showed up at least 30 minutes late; I’m not exaggerating because during the second incident, the driver forgot about me and went on some vacation, so the supervisor at that time had to send someone else out for me.
Trouble with the airport security and police: What’s even more ridiculous is that the two times I was picked up by this company, we ran into trouble with the police. The first time, a stern warning was given to the driver because their car is not officially under a commercial license. Second time, the driver was ticketed for operating the same vehicle without a commercial license, again. The driver even told me to lie to the police!!!
Sassy Cab is by NO means professional at all. They are the most unprofessional group of people you will EVER meet. During my first ride, as soon as I opened the door, I noticed how dirty the car was. It was messy and there were crumbs from chips all over the place. The second time, messy again and smelled of cigarette smoke. The driver even had the nerve to talk on the phone in front of me while driving.
Terrible experience. Would not recommend. Use Über next time.

This was my first time using this service and I tried them because their advertisement said it was a locally owned business. Nobody showed up at the time I had scheduled; they were unapologetic and blamed me when I called. Rude people, worst service and I will never use them again.
