Sonoran Glass School

Wow! What a great time! My fiancé were in town for a work trip and found this on Visit Tucson and we are so happy we did! We did a glass blowing class with Paul and made an ornament and pumpkin. Paul was phenomenal in teaching us everything there is about glass blowing. He was super friendly, knowledgable and made us feel comfortable enough to be part of the whole process. Such a cool experience. Highly recommend!

I purchased a living social voucher for a fused glass class at Sonoran Glass Academy. I loved the piece of art I completed in the two hour class. The instructor was kind and very helpful. Although, they had warned us to wear closed toed shoes, I had forgot, and they had shoes they lent me. Wow!
They had all the tools we needed and a beautiful assortment of all colors of glass. I left it for firing and picked it up a week later. I did not write a review at the time, as it slipped my mind, until recently. I purchased another Living Social voucher for another Glass School on the east-​side of Tucson. That class was so poorly done, that I left not even beginning my project.
As I reflected on my experience with them, I thought back to my experience with Sonoran Glass Art Academy. I then resolved to come back and write a review thanking them for the great job. Sometimes we have to see a cloudy day before we fully appreciate a sunny day. So here is my review, late but sincerely felt.
