History
Established in 2004.
Inspired by the unique connection between dogs and people, JJ Belcher began working with dogs professionally in 1999. By 2004, JJ established his own dog training business «Sublime Canine» in Tucson, AZ. Diversity in dog training knowledge set JJ apart as an asset to the dog training community and is one of the few trainers in the area to validate their methods by successfully competing with his own dogs at high levels. As Sublime Canine continued to grow throughout the years, so did the staff… Terra, Nicole, Traci, Elisa and Tamison are all very accomplished dog trainers. They all volunteer with rescue organizations and hone their skills by competing with their own dogs. Sublime Canine has proven in the home and on the field.

Meet the Business Owner
JJ B.
Business Owner
In the late 90’s I adopted a dog named Max, started volunteering at the HSSA and taking Max to dog training classes which ultimately led me to where I am today… I have studied under some of the top dog trainers in the world, I have qualified and competed at World Championship dog competitions, I teach seminars throughout the United States and I help countless clients reach their goals with their dogs daily… Personally, I love what I do. It gives me purpose. I am great at it. I have met so many wonderful people and it has taken me to some wonderful places.
I attribute my dog training carrier to Max. I learned so much from him, he gave me more than I was ever able to return and led me on this journey… I’m supposed to add «What excites you about this business», well what excites me is that I get to work with people and their «Max»…
I believe dogs are here to teach us, to guide us…
What is your dog here to teach? What adventure will it lead you to?
