Table Talk is a local Tucson business with three locations. The location on Tanque Verde is their flagship store, and it’s the original location. They’ve been doing business in Tucson for over 35 years. I recently visited two of their locations(this one, and also the one on Oracle Road). I found the staff at the Tanque Verde location to be a lot more open to assisting customers than the Oracle location(where I didn’t even see a salesperson on the floor). Right now they have a sale going on dining tables for 15% off. You can also get couches here, as well as everything you need for your kitchen(pots/pans, glassware, coffee makers, etc.) Table Talk is Tucson’s own– so check them out if you’re wanting to «keep it local!’ Their prices are good too.(See photos or visit their website: for more info).

When I have hard to find kitchen items, I think of Table Talk first. They have some things that I just can’t find anywhere else. Plus, they have THE largest selection of cookware and gadgets I have seen in town. My wife loves their home décor stuff. When I need a gift for her I know I can look here and find something she will like… if she hasn’t already bought it for herself. Their furniture has tempted us on many occasions. It seems to be all wood and high quality. If you spend any time at all in the kitchen, you owe it to yourself to visit this local chain. I challenge you to not leave with some cool kitchen gadget you didn’t even know you needed.

Let’s Talk Tables…” As part of my furniture shopping nightmare, I’ve been looking around for buffet tables and small dining tables. I’ve come to understand that Tucson is full of furniture places and I think I’ve only visited 25% of them. Table Talk is one of those places. I like Table Talk. However their sign is misleading because the tables don’t talk to you, and I’ve been to all 3 Tucson locations and haven’t enjoyed such an experience. Like I was saying, I like Table Talk. Me giving this location a 4 star was pushing it a little as I find that to really benefit from their full eclectic selection one has to go to all 3 stores because all 3 stores sells different items. I am looking for buffet table with unusual dimensions and this Tanque Verde location actually had it. not just one but two or more buffet tables under the same requirements. A lot of their pieces appear as though they simply raided a Tres Amigos’ delivery van. However, some of their other pieces are unique. There’s a lot of items made in India just like Tres Amigos. Their pricing is from the $ 600 and up categories. However, when there’s a sale, you probably got your money’s worth. All of their tables are HEAVY and made with huge solid pieces of wood. I am not familiar with their quality, but I am assuming its good because the wood for most of their pieces seem really solid. I am mostly impressed with this chain of store for their large selection of buffet tables, their bookcases are often grand and gorgeous. They have a large kitchenware outfit where you can find any kitchen tool or necessity. They should really call this place Kitchen Talk or Dining Talk. But not Table Talk because the tables don’t talk to you.
