For all things Arizona, visit the Arizona Experience Store, conveniently located in downtown Tucson. This one stop shop has everything you need to explore Arizona. Stroll through the extensive collection of books, field guides, topographic, hiking, and geologic maps. The store serves as the Tucson outlet for Arizona Highways destination guides, calendars, and stationary as well as a hub for Arizona minerals from historic mines. The outdoor recreation center contains free materials from over 60 different local, state, and federal agencies. Choose from free maps, flyers, brochures, and booklets to help plan your next outdoor adventure. The Arizona Experience is more than just a storefront, the Arizona Experience website is an online, interactive, multimedia virtual museum launched on Arizona’s centennial to showcase the people, places, and events that shaped Arizona’s past as well as guiding its future. www​.ari​zon​a​ex​pe​ri​ence​.org

Established in 1996.

The Arizona Experience Store replaces Arizona Geological Survey’s Map and Bookstore. With a complete remodel, re-​branding, and expanded product lines this store is truly a one stop shop.

Needed a few quick gifts for family back east. This store is aptly named!
We walked in to a variety of Arizona-​specific items that were exactly what we were looking for!
Everything from luxury soaps, children’s books, cookbooks, ornaments, maps, crafts/​exploration kits and more.
Friendly customer service and lots of local items! We didn’t know this store existed, but now it’s on our map!

This shop truly carries all things Arizona! This is an ideal place for visitors and locals alike. Visitors will be please to find a great selection of maps and information on geology, hikes, and other outdoor Arizona adventures. There’s a Unique selection of jewelry, artifacts and locally made

This store was a complete surprise in the heart of downtown Tucson. My friend and I discovered it after lunch nearby and we both felt like we had found a hidden gem! First of all, it’s located in an historic building with wonderful old beams and tile and beautiful light fixtures. The bright space is staffed by friendly and helpful people who made our visit a real pleasure. We found all sorts of interesting items, from maps and books about geology and mineral collecting to beautiful locally made gifts. From foods to jewelry, cutting boards and soaps, they have interesting and beautiful items. I purchased a bar of soap from a local herbalist which I can’t wait to try. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

If you truly love Arizona, then you gotta love this store. It’s the retail store operation of the Arizona Geological Survey, and it rocks. It has an extensive collection of books for sale, not only on the geology of Arizona, but on the culture, history, and natural history of the state as well. Love maps? Then chart out a course to this store! You’ll find topographical, relief, geologic, touring, and historical maps, many suitable for framing.
The store also has a selection of locally made jewelry and crafts, including Native American, photographs by local photographers, and Arizona mineral specimens.
It’s in the state government complex at West Congress and Granada, but don’t quake with fear — there’s convenient and free parking!
