I purchased a Groupon for this salon after seeing great reviews and being recommended by a friend. The salon was beautiful and the staff was friendly, but the haircut I received was unfortunate.
I have thick hair, and the stylist, Gina, said she would «de-​bulk» it and add layers.
What I got was a choppy, blocky mess that I am still growing out after two months.
The picture with my hair «styled» was immediately after my appointment and the other picture was the next day after blowing out my hair. A huge chunk was cut out. I almost cried in the salon when she showed me the end result. I won’t be returning.

I looked for a long time for a good salon and I definitely found it with The Dollhouse. I saw Gina and she did great! Together we went for a completely different look. I got my nape shaved, 6 inches or more of the length cut off and highlights. I look and feel amazing. She really takes her time and makes sure she’s doing it perfect for you. She has fun and is easy to talk to. I found my new hairstylist! Go see her!

A woman’s hair is her crowning glory, right? Well, Maddy is responsible for my glorious hair! She is a modest beauty with complete focus on her client, and highly skilled in both cutting and styling. The salon itself is a lovely, calming space. I always look forward to my appointments, and am always thrilled with the outcome: thanks to Maddy, my hair looks shiny and healthy… glorious!

I bought a groupon for this place and quickly entered my info into the appointment request form on their web site. It has been over a week with no response and the phone number on the website doesn’t work. Luckily, groupon refunded me.

I went in today and had my hair done by Maddy! I had brassy highlights and she fixed them with some low lights and evened everything out! The salon has an old fashioned feel to it and it is the cutest place ever. It’s very clean and I’ve never left a hair salon so happy. I can’t wait to go back!

I am a college student at the UofA and was looking for a trustworthy hairstylist to cut my lower back length hair into a ‘lob.’ Maddy was AMAZING. Not only did my haircut and baylage highlights turn out identical to the picture I provided, she was patient and always cued me in on what she was doing next. I have found my tucson hairstylist and I would highly recommend Maddy to anyone looking for one in the Tucson area!

Love this salon! It’s beautiful in there and Maddy does a fantastic job. She took her time and brought me back the hair I have been missing for so long. I will be returning for sure. The atmosphere was comfortable and her styling skills are superb.
All in all, the products don’t irritate my skin and my hair is soft and light as a feather. I just recently moved to Tucson but I think I already found my hairstylist. :)

I’ve searched Tucson for a hair stylist, and when I found Maddy I stopped looking! This place is so cute and professional. I will not be going to any other place to get anything done on my hair now. It’s easy to love this place… you’ve been warned :)

The salon is absolutely gorgeous with a vintage feel. I went in for a haircut with Annie and loved how it turned out. I will definitely be back.

Maddy rocks. It’s the second time I’ve seen her and she took me blond with lowlights first, several months ago, and now I’m dark brown, and I swear, she’s one of the best colorists I’ve ever had. She gives great cuts, too. She’s a sweetheart and a true talent, never upselling, just honoring her clients’ wishes. She’s patient and attentive and takes great pride in her work. She would never give up until her client was happy; I think she’d actually be ashamed of herself, call the client, and beg them to come back to redo their hair if she felt she did less than her absolute best.
The salon is super clean and the chairs are comfortable, nothing’s loud … it’s just pleasant, small, locally owned, loving, and so pretty. It’s a bit hard to find, located behind the bank. Prices are completely reasonable — about $ 95 was what I pay for cut and full color, not including the tip, of course. Don’t tell, but I would pay twice as much for the same service at this salon.

I rolled the dice on this one and it payed off! I Love this place. Excellent cleanliness, it’s adorable and intimate. I got a great highlight and color correction. I booked my next appointment without hesitation. Maddy, was a delight!

What a fantastic salon!!! You can tell they actually care about what you want and take a lot of pride in giving you a good result. Nothing better than stylists who listen to their clients and make sincere recommendations. Got my hair cut and colored by Maddy, who was AWESOME! So pleased with what she did and the result. love my highlights, the cut, and style. Have had some nightmare experiences at other salons with cut, color, and unjustified prices… I came to The Dollhouse on a Groupon to try the place out, as I recently moved to Tucson and I am soooo happy to say that will be a repeat client here… already recommended this place to several women in the area! Very professional, skilled, and sincere ladies running this place. From the moment you arrive you feel transported from the stressful, loud outside world into a serene, elegant, and beautiful environment where care is taken to make sure you not only get a great haircut, style, or color, but a wonderful experience… .time spent here will truly make you have a better day! Love, love, love the décor and ambiance… but of course I think it’s the people that make a person want to come back and they were fabulous ladies who know their stuff… definitely check this place out… you WILL be glad you did!

Annie has been doing my hair for years and I will not go to anyone else! Every time I see Annie I show her a picture of how I want my hair and it turns out exactly how I had imagined. Annie is so kind and patient and takes her time to make sure each client feels beautiful, special and perfect before they leave her salon. The Dollhouse salon itself is gorgeous and the vintage finds are incredible! I feel like a princess every time I step in the door. Treat yourself and visit the Dollhouse.

Annie is a true visionary, professional and creative genius. I’ve been going to Annie for 6 years and will never get my hair colored by anyone else. I can show Annie a photo of what I like and it will look exactly how I asked, or better than I could have imagined. From simple highlights– to detailed ombré… Even creative crazy colors– Annie does it all! The Dollhouse is AMAZING and a hidden gem. If you’re not going to Annie, you are missing out!!!

Awesome! Avoid haircut remorse – you know – when you cry after getting a haircut,. Get Annie to cut and color your hair. I’ve been patronizing her services for about a year, and Annie delivers. She cuts my hair with precision and creativity, and the color is so natural, I get tons of compliments. The cost is about half of what you’d pay at most salons, and you will have your hair done by a real life doll in an idyllic dollhouse. Check out the Coco Chanel painting and the antique shop in the back. Annie also believes in giving back to the community and helping women in need, which I applaud. It is a fun and great experience with a good vibe which I can recommend without reservation.

I just got my hair done today by Annie. She is fabulous. I showed her a few pictures of hair that I liked and she literally made my hair look just how I wanted. I LOVE how my hair turned out (the color and the cut) and she curled it perfectly. The salon is super chic, super fun, and simply adorable. Annie and Kelly were very friendly and brought me delicious treats and refreshing spa water. It was a great experience overall and I will definitely be going back.
