We are a community acupuncture clinic striving to provide affordable health care in Tucson and surrounding areas. Treatments are given at a sliding scale fee of $ 20 to $ 40 and are in a community setting which provides the benefits of low cost to the patient, the healing energy of the room and the possibility to get treatments alongside family and friends if so desired. We have 8 tables, 5 of which incline to allow patients to receive treatment in a position which is best suited for the condition. This clinic is a general practice clinic and can treat pain, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, allergies/​sinus and other respiratory conditions, neurological symptoms, emotional imbalance, addictions, infertility, labor induction and more.

History

This clinic was established in June of 2013 by licensed acupuncturist, Michele Smith.

Business Owner

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Michele lived in Atlanta and worked in the music industry doing promotions and marketing for Elektra Ent. and the Variety Playhouse. With the advent of the internet the music industry was becoming a dying industry with not much future. Alternative medicine had always been a hobby and interest and Michele. In 2006 Michele enrolled in acupuncture school and in 2007 and transferred out to Tucson to continue her studies. Believing in the importance community and also helping others, community acupuncture drew Michele’s attention immediately. During school Michele volunteered as a receptionist at TCA where a graduation she became a full time acupuncturist. After 2 ½ years Michele decided it was time to start her own clinic. Michele also volunteers as an acupuncturist with GAHP where she has had the opportunity and honor to provide acupuncture to the residents of the Navajo Nation.
