Time Market

I came here for the first time with my friend. I was helping move out of her house; and we were in walking distance. Right when we walked in, we headed towards the bar counter to sit down on the stools… Not even 2 minutes inside, one of the runners Kelsey rudely shewd us to the side and said «hey guys I need this pathway cleared» (hands shewing to the side). We sat down and could not believe what we heard. After ordering, a table came available. We kindly asked her to clean off the center of the table because there was food all over. Instead of saying sure; she said «I can’t until they move their stuff» as we looked over, it was a small 5×7 note pad that the previous guests left on the table on accident. She knew this, and once again flung her hands in the air and walked away. Thankfully another worker gentleman came over and wiped it of for us without us even asking. He asked us if he could. The food was very very good. But this first impression was not very good. I got the Caprese sandwich. Excellent bread, fresh mozzarella and great tasting pesto!

Typical hipster sense of entitlement among every employee I interacted with, enjoy making my coffee because this is where you and your skinny jeans will peak in life. They don’t have wifi even though when you search for places nearby with wifi Unilocal says they do. I spent almost $ 12.00 for a small grinder (no side) and cold brew coffee figured with those margins they might be able to afford wifi.
After reading a lot of the other bad reviews on this place it looks like the owner or manager has responded to several reviewers. The barista claimed their Unilocal page was outdated and I should’ve checked their website, sorry I don’t have time to cross reference the info on Unilocal with your webpage! If you have time to comment and defend bad reviews on Unilocal you have time to update your Unilocal page.

Wonderful cute place. Delicious food! I come here fairly often.
So why only 3 stars, you ask?
No wifi. Seriously? This place is right by the university. There are tables and chairs throughout the place, perfect for studying or surfing the net. Ill change the rating to 5 stars when they decide to catch up and join us in 2016.

Great place for lunch when looking for a place to stop on a bicycle ride. Hummus plate, caprese salad, beet salad and Greek salad all enjoyed by everyone. Fast service and good food! I liked the outdoor seating also!
(But the way, if you know anyone with epilepsy or seizure-​disorder we were out on a supported bike ride and stopped here for lunch, so all can enjoy bicycling in Tucson and good food here. Bought a slice and a beer before the lady told me no wifi! I paid 10 bucks already. Put a sign up that says «we don’t have wifi and we’re not a coffee shop despite the lengthy coffee menu on the wall.» Also my pizza was so soft and undercooked I had to roll it like a taco. Final insult is when the girl gave me a dirty look for pushing my empty dishware away from me on the counter. Ridiculous hipster spot there has to be about 39 better spots for me to have a beer and do homework.

Went there yesterday for the first time during the 4^th Avenue Street Fair. The staff was very friendly. I love their pizza. I can’t believe I’ve never been here before and now that I have I will never go to Brooklyn’s Pizza again.

I’m really disappointed in my most recent experience at Time Market. I’ve eaten here several times. The food has always been decent, not great, but it was on the way home, so we decided to stop in.
My mother and I both have to avoid gluten, and we were interested in what our options might be outside of salad. My mom asked a man behind the counter if they served gluten free pizza, and he looked at her, smirked, and laughed her off. (He never actually answered her question.) She responded, «Is that funny?» And he came back with, «I thought it was…»
We left after that because he was so rude. Time Market’s choice to employ people who have such terrible people and customer service skills has absolutely lost them our business. In a city like Tucson with such a rich variety of culinary options, there are better places to get lunch and not be abused by the employees.

Atmosphere — An old converted building into a deli market. There is a grill and coolers around the market with craft beers, craft teas and coffee and other goodies. There is even a small produce section in the front. Very rustic heavy metal tables and chairs in the center for seating. Neat little spot.
Service — Typical cashier style order system. Nothing special.
Chicken & Tamale Sandwich — This was a great sandwich that had the Masa from a tamale on the sandwich with chicken, cheese, avocado and other spices. The bread was crunchy and fresh. The sandwich was very good.
Misc. — All the beer that you see in single servings around the shop in the coolers cannot be drank on site. All the teas and other single serving drinks can but the beer cannot. Seems weird when they have a tap system with drafts and clearly sell beer there. Was a big downer because their draft selection was pretty poor for a 8 – 10 beer selection.

Great local market with excellent food. This place has one of my favorite beers, grapefruit sculpin, on tap at a reasonable price. I always go for the roasted chicken tamale sandwich which is out of this world! The kale salad is also one of my favorites. Excellent place for some grub and people watching.

Love the place. A great place for the artsy type to study, science types (like myself) stay away. There is no wifi here and no outlets :/​you are stuck with what your phone can handle and your one charge battery.
On the other hand the food, drinks, groceries are great.

what a lovely place! I have never been before (sacrilege, I know), so I was surprised at the openness of the space, the breadth of coffee options, and the nice menu. I got their tamal breakfast which was really yummy. Like a flattened tamale that took up most of the plate (looked like a pancake) with a nice addition of avocado, egg, and salsa on the top. really tasty!
then wandered through their market aisles. had a really fun selection of gourmet food items to pick up. Will definitely go back when I need something unique for a dinner party.

I have never ordered something I haven’t liked! Today I got the phig pizza and couscous salad. The pizza slice was enormous and so tasty. The couscous was very flavorful as well! I could come here every week. I just wish it was a little cheaper!

Deeply and Profoundly hipster doofus — both young and old can be seen interacting in their natural habitat.
And it’s classic Tucson — been here longer than me (more than 25 yrs).
Excellent pizza and sandwiches. For pizza, I love the Merguez (lamb sausage, fennel, mint, lemon zest). There are some very tasty side dishes and salads that rotate in availability too (e.g. cucumber couscous salad). There is a small but nice selection of craft beers and wines by the glass. Coffees and teas and a few deserts too.
Sorry. No burgers at an ultra liberal place like this.
The market part specializes in organic foods, artisanal fresh baked breads, and things of that nature.
The wine section is really good with some gems that are not found all over Tucson.
It’s right at a trolley stop — how convenient is that.
Comfortable seating inside and out.
Just a great place to watch the world go by.
Too bad my iPhone struggles with the free wifi.

I love this place! Everything is so fresh and local and organic! Their bread is baked in house, sandwich’s and salads are made with a lot of care. The pizza, doesn’t leave you feeling too full. When you order at the table, they don’t bring your drinks, you have to pick them up at the counter — a little odd since they do bring the food, then you’re sitting there wondering where your drink is… I love the store — an assortment of eclectic goodies, wine, organic chocolate, sauces, yummy nuts, fruits and veggies — great for taking home to make a special and extra delicious dinner, ingredients are key. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating and it’s right on the trolley line at a stop, so very convenient for college kids too!

Usually I come here to eat, not so much for market shopping, but I did look around today. They have some pretty cool things, definitely some interesting jarred food items I hadn’t seen anywhere else, plus a nice mushroom selection for T town. I’ve had a few different pizza’s, beer, salad. It’s usually very good, always enjoyable especially their beer. It’s a nice little place with a mellow atmosphere. Very laid back, indoor and outdoor seating but this time of year definitely pick outside. I don’t come here too often since it’s not exactly close by but it’s a good choice for near the University and having lunch with my best friend who’s a student.

Their pizza is so good. SO. GOOD.
I always just run in and get a slice to go. If they’re serving the Phig pizza that day, I recommend it 200%. It’s probably my favorite pizza of all time (and I usually am not even a thin-​crust person).
Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. They also have a market with specialty items and fresh produce. This is one of my favorite places in Tucson!

Always love it here. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Great ice coffee! Friendly people. They even try to remember names! Enjoy the curry turkey sandwich a lot! Nice bread. A good crust on their bread! Their lunch specials are good. Had their Copa sandwich recently. Too much balsamic vinegar for my liking… parking…well…could be better, but usually not a problem. Lunch can be very busy. Their shop is nice, so you can get other items while here.

Time market always is a chill and has good pace of the energy kind of place. Food has always been consistent and giving the place can be busy during lunch hour, they seems can always keep it clean and tidy.
Some people are not too crazy about their pizza but personally I found its pretty tasty and I like them little more crispy… okay, I like them kind o burned. But I like them either way.

I have been her twice now. Both times we have enjoyed the pizza. I have had the margherita pizza, it was good, but nothing super special. We have also had the kale &coach and the caramel heart. I highly recommend both these vegetarian pizza’s. They use fresh, mostly organic ingredients. The Greek salad was delicious! They also have a great selection of beer to choose from. We have had yummy fresh baked cookies. The staff is always friendly. The outside eating area is a nice place to sit and eat your meal.
A couple of important things: their pizzas are huge! A small pizza will definitely feed two, but we order two different pizzas and have plenty for lunch the next day :).
They have more then just pizza!!! We have only tried the pizza, but we have seen the sandwiches and they look yummy, so we can’t wait to try those next.

We go here just for pizza…
and then we walk out with cheese and specialty chips.
…and all kinds of other snacks :).

I think they did a remodel a couple years ago because it looks much different than what i remember from the one time I’ve gone before (4 years ago). Its very open and organic looking. They have a nice coffee bar that makes me wish I wasn’t there with my kid sometimes so that I could just sip a nice hot cup of coffee while I sift through a magazine.
P. S. Their outside seating is totally enclosed so if you have a kid or two, they can’t run away into the street while you’re stuffing your face with their delicious pizza. that’s a plus but I guess it could be a minus for those around you.
