At the Tucson Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy (TCCP) our therapists know that the first step toward helping you is understanding your particular situation. Your goals for therapy are then individually designed by you and your therapist working together to plan the best course of treatment.

We specialize in treating the following issues;

anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, anger management, depression, panic attacks, racial issues, lesbian gay and transgender issues, grief and loss, relationship issues, physical abuse, sexual abuse, self-​improvement

We provide Individual, Couple, Family and Group Therapy.

History

Established in 2009.

The Tucson Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy (TCCP) was formed in 2009 by Lauren Levy, MEd, LPC, NCC and Michal Gorman, MA, LPC, to provide a wide array of Counseling and Psychotherapy Services at moderate prices. Our mission is to create a Center where individuals who seek therapeutic services can be assured that the services they receive are from clinicians who are knowledgeable, skilled, and professional.

Tucson Center of Counseling and Psychotherapy (TCCP) provides therapeutic treatment with the belief in the healing potential of counseling and psychotherapy to improve one’s mental health and quality of life. These services are provided in a respectful and compassionate atmosphere that encourages attainment of the personal growth clients are seeking.

Meet the Business Owner

Lauren L.

Business Owner

Lauren has been working in the mental health field for more than 25 years. Her experience includes work in non-​profit agencies and treatment centers as a family counselor, primary counselor, and clinical supervisor/​consultant. Since 1991, she has maintained a private practice in Tucson, Arizona. Lauren has authored and published curriculum for child sexual abuse prevention, also working with members of the Hopi Nation to adapt and institute the first trainings in child sexual abuse. Her writing has been published in «Women in Therapy: A Feminist Quarterly.» She is lead faculty at the University of Phoenix and has been an instructor for eight years.
