I Unilocaled to find a nearby feed store and this one came up as second closest but first opened in the morning.
The staff (looked like kids to me; young adults) were so quick to acknowledge me and greet me. The young lady, super cheery for so early in the morning, quickly asked if there was anything she could help me find.
From start to finish I was impressed by the two workers. The young man packed my bag of feed to the car and picked up trash off the ground as he walked back in.
The kids made this a feel-​good place. It’s a place I want to support because of the exemplary customer service.

Best feed store in east Tucson. The staff is nice and knows about the feed in the store. They are always honest about the product even if it means you dont buy it from their store.

Great place to purchase all your animal feed needs plus a lot other items. They carry Bick 4! The best leather and boot cleaner and conditioner on the market. Bick 4 is recommended by Tucson’s world famous Stewart Boot Co. If you have boots or other leather items that you value, then Bick 4 is for you.

Come here for alfafa, pretty good place to get horse supplies and even dog/​cat supplies. Also their staff seems friendly enough

Hmm, just read some of the others review and I’m wondering if I just happen to come here during some weird space time anomaly when everyone is nice… because I haven’t had any bad experiences here. Over the years (around 7?) I’ve returned dog food twice, found some good sales on quality brands, enjoyed their grain free selection and scored on canned food clearances. The toy I usually buy my GSD (who is allowed in the store and always treated well) is a bit cheaper here, too. I used to bring him for vaccination clinics, too, and found the store to be consistently clean. There’s another feed store I like a bit better, so in comparison I’m not going to go the full five stars but there’s nothing wrong with this place in my experience!

If I could give no stars I would. This place is horrible and filled with incompetent employees. The employees need to attend customer service classes. Forget returning anything here they make it next to impossible. They could care less about keeping your business as they are rude and not helpful in any way. Not what I would expect from a small company. Stick with Petsmart or Petco.

Tucson Feed has a huge selection of pet food. The staff are always busy but were willing to answer many questions I had about some of there products. The location is clean and the prices are very reasonable.
They keep a lot of things stocked which means they have selection and every time I go in and browse around I see something new. Definitely check them out.

We bought a bag of Purina Equine Senior which turned out to be moldy.
They would not exchange it without the receipt, and were nasty about (Like what, I put the mold in the feed). So I went home and emailed the Purina rep. She said of course they should have replaced it. She called them. I went back. They told me she had not called them. I emailed her. My boyfriend went back. They stared at him and made him repeat the whole story, even though it was the same people. Then they said they didn’t have any in stock and he’d have to come back. He did, and they made him repeat the whole story AGAIN, and just stared at hims some more –They never apologized and they didn’t bother to ever even ask if my horse was ok.

This place is awesome! Not only do they have an awesome variety of well-​stocked items, it’s locally owned and operated with a staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. On top of that, the prices cannot be beat — even by the chain pet stores. Tucson Feed has everything you could want in a pet store and more. Definitely a must for any animal owner!
