Tucson / Lazydays KOA

May be one of THE nicest I have ever been too.
Beautiful grounds, fruits trees are everywhere, a solar parasail cover thing that is unreal (you have to see it for yourself)
Will definitely recommend to all.
They have a full bar and bar food and great staff. KOA did it right adding this place.

This is a nice KOA. Sites are large and well-​maintained. Roads are paved; sites are gravel with a paved patio. There’s a table and four chairs on each patio. Citrus trees are at every site. I had grapefruit and fresh-​squeezed orange juice for breakfast, limes for guacamole, and lemons for lemonade. There are two large laundries in the park ($ 2 wash, $ 1.50 dry). There’s a nice gift shop and a café that has burgers, etc. You can get a beer or mixed drink there, too. People are very friendly. The only complaint is that they don’t let you know what activities they have planned. The campground is right next to Lazydays RV. If you need work done on your RV you can have it done there, but make sure you make an appointment several weeks ahead of time. Lazydays also has a parts store, and they give classes in driving an RV and how to cook in your convection oven. There is also a Camping World close by in case you need supplies. We plan on staying here anytime we’re in the Tucson area.

Our first stay here was enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sites were clean and attractive (the fruit had all been picked off of our tree! :-() We stayed two nights while having some work done on our motorhome next door. The location was convenient to food and the highways, although it tended to be a bit noisy at night with distant trains, planes overhead and traffic noise from outside streets. The Florizona café was great a well… tasty food at good prices. The Power Parasol solar project is interesting and we’d like to see it when it is completed. Our overall our stay was just great, and we hope to come back another time just to enjoy the area.

Excellent! Nice and new and clean. They didn’t spare any expense and a real reasonable rate. I’d highly recommend !!
Two pools, a nice little playground for the kids and a nice dog area.
Update– stayed here again 10÷5÷15. They have a real nice laundry room with new machines and a change machine that most places don’t have! Very large dog enclosure, that is fenced in and lots of room to run and play off leash. And shade trees and benches for masters!

Don’t let the neighborhood scare you away. The park is very secure with gated entry. Very friendly staff. The grounds are very clean. Spaces are large with picnic table. Onsite bar with limited menu was nice.

This «kampground» is under construction. Construction begins each day at 6 AM, including the usual banging and clanging (it’s metal they’re working with), and loud backup alarms from the heavy equipment they’re using to construct a solar array/​shade. It’s a noble project, but the noise violates their own quiet hour policy, which states quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. We were not warned, verbally or in writing, that this would be going on at 6 AM. Even though I specifically requested the quietest possible spot when I made the reservation, and again when I checked in, they put me one row away from the construction, even though the park is mostly empty this week. I would move, but I’m leaving today anyway. Additionally, a delivery truck at the Circle K across the street, just past the prison wall around the kampground, woke me up at 3 AM. I am NOT a happy camper, and it is NOT a great day at KOA.

WOW! Such a nice RV park and the staff are just as nice. I haven’t seen a place to match this since we stayed at the Hilton Head Marina RV park in SC. They have a nice little store, sweet pool to swim in and a Bar that serves food. The spots are clean, well manicured and gravel drives with concrete pads with a picnic table. Great place to lay your head for the night or stay for a few days and relax.

Very nice and clean facilities. The fitness center and the large dog park were a definite bonus for us. The staff was friendly and helpful and the sites had citrus trees and nice tables and chairs.

Sites were relatively level and pull-​through. Pool, laundry, rec room, etc. we’re nicer than average.
Gated with security guard which indicates you’re in a good location — NOT.
This RV park is next to“RV Row”, at least 3 dealerships and repair places in a row. Just don’t go to LazyDays store for parts as service is non-​existent.

Love love love this rv park. Employees are always friendly, extremely clean and sites are large. Lemon and grapefruit trees between each space, daily curb side trash service, exercise room, huge dog park, two pools, two laundry rooms, and two shower locations. There are always socials, exercise classes or other fun happenings put on by the koa. Prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend this spot!

Great park! This is the best KOA we have ever stayed in. Friendly staff and no problem checking in. Very efficient.

Great place to stay! Family and pet friendly, very spacious sites, beautiful pool and spa. Friendly staff. Laundry, fitness center and much more. Would stay again! Fire chimney rental for $ 15 was worth every penny. Includes chimney, fire starter, bundle of wood and mystical fire (colored fire)!

We liked the park so much we stayed here both times passing through Tucson on our roadtrip. The staff was all very friendly and the park maintained beautifully. All the sites are very roomy with nice patio sets and fruit trees that smell wonderful. It’s not located in the best neighborhood which we found out while looking for somewhere for dinner on our first stay. The second time around we stayed there and ate in the restaurant/​bar. The service and food was fantastic.

The park is nice and very well maintained. They have a nice dog play area, and an onsite restaurant and event center. The location is convenient to town and to Lazy Days, if you are having any work done. There is a Camping World store nearby as well. The part of town it is in is not the best, but we always felt completely safe here.

Great RV Spot! We enjoyed Tucson and had a great time at Lazydays. This is a HUGE park but the sites are nice and most have access to orange trees which you can pick. I was a bit disappointed when I took my first bite into one of the freshly picked oranges… SOUR! But still very cool. The front desk folks are nice and helpful. They are actually happy to see you… Imagine that… :) The amenities are top notch with multiple pools, Laundry rooms and an onsite restaurant. This park is also located right next door to Lazy Days RV Shop as well for repairs, cleaning and parts (or to buy a new rig). Can’t go wrong here.

Fabulous RV park. Pay the little extra for a deluxe space; triple wide with a lawn in addition to standard (for here) concrete patio and table and four chairs. Oh, and our space had a grapefruit tree with ripe fruit. It doesn’t get better than this! Friday fish fry? Only the best beer battered fish, at a reasonable rate. I almost forgot the large, clean dog park. Unfortunately it was a L O N G walk or a short drive for us. Cleanest and prettiest KOA we’ve stayed in. Awesome!

In a word OUTSTANDING!!! Vicki at the front desk is the perfect example of what customer service is all about!!! Other staff members however don’t share her outstanding service. The park overall is huge, clean and quiet. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

HIGHY RECOMMENDED This is one of the largest, most well-​appointed and well-​maintained RV parks of anywhere we have ever stayed. The place is immaculately clean, has a restaurant on the premises, multiple pools and laundry facilities, and an enormous (and clean!) dog park. Although it is close to home for us, we will go up there every chance we get for a one or two-​night getaway. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the facility is gated and secure overnight. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
