Dr. Roberts is my favorite person in the world right now.
Growing up, my family could not afford regular dental visits and I only visited a dentist in Mexico if I absolutely had to. I knew I needed a lot of dental work but I was afraid to go and be judged for my horrible oral care and extensive work that could’ve been prevented had I gone earlier. I finally got dental insurance and built up the guts to go in for a consultation.
Dr. Roberts and his staff were amazing; they never judged me for my botched up teeth and were only concerned with giving me the proper care I needed as soon as possible. He answered all of my questions thoroughly (which I love) and let me know my options and what took priority. The office is also very clean and «high tech,» which made me feel very secure.
I just had my root canal done today. The local anesthetic has worn off and I feel nothing. No pain, no discomfort, the crown feels and looks amazing. All done in one day. If anything, it’s a little unsettling how good it feels. I’m so happy I listened to the reviews here and went to Dr. Roberts. Best dentist ever.

This is not so much a review as it is a genuine thanks to Dr. Roberts and his staff. I knew that I needed extensive Dental work and spent years trying to find a dentist that would listen and work with me. Most of the Dentist’s that I visited had their plan and most of my questions and concerns were ignored. Needless to say they didn’t get my business. I though I found a reliable dentist in Phoenix. He did listen, I gave him a $ 2500.00 deposit he made me a flip tooth and my next visit after that his Office was shuttered. I went half way up Oracle in Tucson. I told them I wanted a consultation and they practically held me hostage. The Dentist there wanted to pull my teeth that day. The Business Manager told me She would call me every day until I agreed to sign up with them. I then visited one of the 8 convenient locations, only to be told that I needed $ 40,000.00 in Dental work. They assured me although broke I would have a great smile.
I came across Spectrum Dental at an Employer sponsored Health Fair. The Girls representing Spectrum seemed knowledgeable and friendly. They asked if I would like to sign up for a free consultation and I agreed. What I found at my first visit was a very friendly staff, up to date Office and finally a Dentist that actually talked to me. Dr. Roberts was professional allowed me to ask questions and suggested the steps that I should take before we could consider an actual treatment plan. Needless to say we were unable to save any of my teeth.
The whole process took 3 ½ Months and went smooth. Dr. Roberts explained the procedures in great detail made sure I understood and was very contentious about pain management. The whole Office staff was very supportive. Their Office Manager is awesome and explained financing options clearly and was a great help with my Insurance.
I was always in the Chair at my appointed time. Dr. Roberts explained that days procedure, asked if I had any questions and explained what he was doing during each procedure. Although I am not real happy about having Dentures, Dr. Roberts did an awesome job. I have only had to have one adjustment after the first week.
I am very pleased with the whole process and Strongly recommend Dr. Roberts, I know I have. Especially if you need procedures involving Novocain. He is the only Dentist I have every had that can give you a painless shot in your mouth. I’ve told him he should give other Dentists lessons.

This is such a great dental office. They have the newest gadgets and technology, friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean fresh office. They also have a good discount program and financing if you don’t have dental insurance. And since they’re so new to the area, so far I’ve been able to get appointments within a couple days of calling, for me and all my family members!
