U-Like Asian Buffet

Food descent. Bathrooms are disgusting. Nothing like the overwhelming smell of clorox to make you puke up all the buffet. Even the handsome smells of bleach.

Do you have a gross button?! This place seriously needs to keep up with cleanliness and the food also needs so much improvement. I don’t know how this place has not been closed by the health department!

I use to love this restaurant. It’s close by to my house, has decent food and modest prices. But honestly these last two times I’ve visited I’ve come home to an upset stomach. Food tastes great so I’m guessing it’s what in the food that’s getting me sick? Staff are ok. Seem friendly and over worked. I won’t be going back anytime soon. I’m not really a fan of running to the bathroom for 5 hours straight.

Ok so the only reason there is even a one star rating on here is because I had to in order to put this comment on here so that being said here are my reasons for disliking this place and its staff. First things first one of the grossest things that I acquired while here was witnessing one of the kitchen staff members «cleaning» up the buffets by scraping the food that had fallen off peoples plates and onto the buffet back into the food trays.. The woman did this right in front of me so if that is the kind of thing they are doing in front of people who knows what is going on when people are not watching. Also something else that is quite nasty is their restrooms, have they never seen a bottle of cleaner? The restrooms are just disgusting. Not to mention the staff is rude and seemed bothered anytime someone asks for something that should already be done without question, like refilling ones drink for instance. I’m not sure how they always seem so busy. I will never return to U-​Like again nor will anyone I know.

The only reason it’s not one star is because my husband liked the hibachi grill and my 2 year old liked the seasoned fries. Everything else could have been made and prepared better by my 12 year old son. Don’t waste your money go with home made.

I go there to eat a nice meal and the waitress had an accident and dump food all over me pants my legs my brand new shoes that I just bought and they stained my shoes waitress did not say sorry or nothing she was very rude we went and address the manager and she was very rude talking to me very rude I asked her if they could pay for my shoes that they have ruined and they refuse to pay for them and they still charge me for my meal after they had an accident and dump all kinds of food all over somebody that is not very professional I will never go eat there again and I advise everyone else that I know to never eat there very horrible service and very rude people this restaurant is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my whole life

Not sure what you feel like eating and don’t wanna break the bank? Go to U-​Like Asian Buffet, where you can get all sorts of Asian food at the best price. $ 10.99 for all you can eat dinner PLUS DRINK is amazing value. You really can’t ask for better… if you do, I will slap you, you greedy son of a… JUST KIDDING.
Being a huge fan of all-​you-​can-​eat Asian buffets, I have been to at least 10+ different ones throughout Southern California. I can assure you that U-​Like Asian Buffet is by far the cleanest and cheapest out of them all. Other than the self serve selections, they also have an area where you can get fresh cooked phở (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) or teppanaki (Japanese style grill). There is A TON of great food, so be sure to pace yourself!
My one and only gripe is the dessert selection. Not a fan of any of them. The ice cream is hard as rock. So hard to scoop. And it’s missing green tea flavor! The almond jello does not taste like almond jello. You are better off making your own from a box mix!

Ok put on the brakes. I haven’t been in a while but yikes! this was horrible. This was my last time in this place.

I gave U Like another chance last week. The women’s bathroom was very dirty on several levels. I will not return.

I have no idea how this restaurant has not been shut down yet. The bathroom was absolutely horrendous! Not one toilet was even semi clean. Luckily I had not ordered or eaten yet, I paid for my drink I did not touch asked to speak to the manager, who was so rude and refused to look at the bathroom (and obviously he knew what it looked like based on the other reviews) so I left. I will never return here and will tell anyone who will listen NOT to go here.

I don’t appreciate driving by a place that tells me what I like. Don’t tell me what I like!!!

The food was terrible and the restaurant was filthy. My first and last time eating here. What a waste of money.

If I could use emojis I would definitely use the flame emoji for how fire this food is (fire is slang for cool, good, da bomb) mmmmm I like buffet

I really enjoyed this place, we just got out and the price was so reasonable. The food in general was great and the sushi was remarkable. The staff was really attentive and on point with our refills. Honestly we were skeptical due to mixed reviews, but we will definitely be back.

update oct 2 2015: i have attached 4 horrendous pictures of the bathroom of this place and now it has been removed…
The bathroom of this place hasn’t been cleaned in weeks Trash can over flowing, along with every toilet. If I could give this place a 0 I would. 1 star is being generous. Please see picture uploaded I took a picture of each stall and every single stall was over flowing with feces, urine or clogged. If this is what the bathroom looks like only God know what the kitchen looks like. Unfortunately I utilized the restroom after the meal, and honestly after seeing the bathroom I can’t give an honest rating for the food. I literally want to throw up. I will be reporting this place along with pictures to a health inspector in Tucson!

I have been there couple of times with my husband and my kids, we love the food, and service nice there, hope you guys keeping doing that! Definitely we will coming back!

We’ve been to several Asian buffets in Tucson and were about to give up until we discovered U Like.
The food was fresh and hot. I started with small portions of several dishes and they were all delicious. Then I ate a few cold peel-​and-​eat shrimp and a few pieces of sushi. Fresh and tasty. Next, I tried the Mongolian bar. I didn’t have to wait long and it was great. The dessert selection was plentiful, although I was too full to eat more than a few pieces of fruit. My daughter was delighted to find fresh lemons on the dessert bar and my husband and youngest daughter enjoyed some ice cream.
I was most impressed with the service. The waiters were very friendly and they were quick to refill drinks. We’ve had some less-​than-​friendly servers at many Asian buffets, but everyone at U Like was exceptionally nice.
Only one negative note, which may or may not have been due to the food. My husband ate some pork and chicken dishes the rest of us didn’t. The next morning, he had severe intestinal distress that caused him to miss work because he couldn’t leave the bathroom for quite some time. I’m not saying the food made him sick. The rest of us were fine. This certainly will not stop us from returning again.

The food is god awful. Its all dry and flavorless. The grill is even worse knowing its cooked fresh and it comes out dry even when you order extra sauce. The restaurant is semi clean. They also have wait staff is supposed to fill your drink but people were lining up to have their drinks refilled. The only thing I like about this restaurant is they have Thai iced tea. that won’t be enough to let me go back. this is yuck yuck yuck and too expensive

Very nice selection. The customer service is super friendly and nice! Not too expensive! 50 $ for 3 adults two kids. I will return !

The food tasted good for it being a buffet. Had a wide selection of food. My mom tried the hibachi station. She said it was nice and she liked it. The staff was like any other Asian restaurant, all Asian.
The restaurant was disgusting. The roof has water stains. My brother in-​law swears up and down that he saw a cockroach crawling across the table, eww. And when I went in to the restroom, there was paper all over an just filthy as can be. One of the paper towel rolls was out and it was just nasty.
