History

Established in 2011.

Valhalla Leather started in 2011 but I have been doing leatherwork for 30+ years. I used it as a good way to give friends & family uniqe gifts that they would like.

I was a high steel ironworker & I was knocked off a building in 1991. These last couple of years my family & friends suggested that my creations were good enough to sell, especially with the quality of standards I held myself to.

That is how Valhalla Leather & Goods came into being. We are now part the Tucson Arts & Crafts Association. We are also featured in the Rita Watters Art & Crafters gallery in Trail Dust Town in Tucson, Arizona.

Meet the Business Owner

Dan C.

Business Owner

Dan Cole & Leather:

I have been working with leather for around 30 years. Being a cowboy just made it seem natural, like drinking water. I have come to enjoy it immensely.

I have worked construction for almost as long, about 20+ years. Then in 1991 I was involved in a major construction accident. I was knocked off of a building. Thankfully, I only went down 25 feet. I have had a lot taken away from me because of that but, by the grace of God I was able to retain my ability to work leather.

I was taught that you work as if your name is signed to the job. That was how I did my ironwork. That is how I do my leatherwork (along with everything else). Quality is extremely important to me as are what the client wants. If I have a question, I don’t have a problem calling the customer to get it clarified. It is the customer’s leatherwork, not mine. If you ask me to make something for you, you can rest assured that you are getting the best quality I can possibly give to your job.
