When I walked into W last week I was planning to buy an outfit for a surprise party that evening… plus two white tees. I was desperate for an outfit– no real«selling» necessary! I was surprised that no one greeted me when I walked in. I was shocked that more than 5 minutes later I was still browsing(halfway through the store, in fact) and still no one had said hello! There were two women working in the store– and together they had one other customer, whom they seemed to know well, and who didn’t appear to be trying/buying. After I finally got a flip welcome, I left empty-handed. Yes, I left without buying things I actually needed because I was so put-off. Everyone who walks through your door is a potential sale– with the potential of becoming a REPEATCUSTOMER. There really is something to be said for good old-fashioned customer service.

The owner has an amazing eye bringing east coast style to Tucson and offering a nice price range for every budget. Truly a treat to find something unique every time and with the new shoe store she is adding next door things will only get better!

HONK! Not even close to cordial. Bad vibes. Non friendly. Not gracious. Who would want to shop here?!

This is one of my favorite boutiques in the country. I am from out of town, but always frequent W Boutique when I am in Tucson. I have been blessed with the opportunity of travel with my husband’s job, and this shop feels like it should be in Los Angeles or Miami instead of little olé Tucson. The staff(specifically the owner Sydney) is incredible. She is patient and kind, and will spend any amount of time trying to help you find what you are looking for. She gives an honest opinion if she thinks something isn’t just right for you. I don’t know if Amy works there anymore, but she has always been super helpful and just as sweet as can be. I was introduced to a few brands here when I first started going there in 2007, and still wear those brands to this day. This is an excellent place to buy gifts as well. Good job, W.

Clothing is great but the woman who runs the shop is an absolute horror. She pays no attention to customers and gives off quite the pretentious vibe. I’ve only been in for female friends to shop(obviously) but she has been rude to every single one of them, even if they do make large purchases. I’d shop online or wait until you leave town.

Yes, Tucson has some awesome locally owned stores and W Boutique is among the handful of fabulous women’s boutiques in town. Chic and fashion forward, this spot could certainly hold its own if it was transplanted in San Francisco. You’ll find an upscale selection of sylish and tasteful designs. But be prepared to spend some money here! W is also a super great for gift shopping; from candles to soaps, and greeting cards to hand meow jewelry you’re bound to find the perfect for a friend, loved one or yourself! If it’s been a while since your last visit to W Boutique, I encourage you to check them out again. They just moved a couple doors down from their St. Philips Plaza location(still in St. Philip though!) and their new spacious digs are worth a visit.

Is it odd that one of my all time favorite boutiques is in Tucson, Arizona? I mean, I have pounded the streets of San Francisco, Scottsdale, Los Angeles, and Boston on many occasions and have come home empty handed. But every time I walk out of this tiny boutique in little old Tucson, it is always with bag in hand with the perfect«something». W has a great but edited selection of designer denim, work appropriate attire, and party time cocktail numbers. They also always have stacks and stacks of perfect little t-shirts. If you are a fan of Trina Turk, you will find practically the entire line here. W has been carrying it for years. How’s that for fashion forward. Bravo W from a true shop-a-holic.
