Specialties

We offer a wide variety of yoga classes with experienced, dynamic & knowledgeable teachers in Ashtanga (led classes & traditional Mysore style), Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, AcroYoga & more. Our schedule boasts over 25 classes each week in addition to specialized workshops with nationally-renowned teachers. Our in-studio boutique supplies a variety of yoga clothing, accessories, props, books & CDs. All of this in a unique, circular space, wood floor and domed ceilings with a circumferential view of the Catalina mountains while you practice. Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe, comfortable space to allow students the chance to experience the joy of living a life in physical, emotional and spiritual balance.

History

Established in 2003.

Originally owned by Jackie Sherman and developed as a Vinyasa Flow studio, Yoga Flow eventually developed a reputation for having a more mature audience, with classes for yogis interested in developing their practices beyond the physical experience with some of Tucson’s most knowledgeable & experienced instructors. Some of our strongest draws are that we are the only Ashtanga Yoga studio in town, with Arizona’s only Certified Ashtanga teacher, & our Hatha classes with a nationally renowned & experienced teacher in Hatha, meditation & pranayama, Chris Coniaris. Yoga Flow now enjoys a schedule of more than 20 classes each week with an array of offerings and mindful & experienced teachers.

Meet the Business Owner

Jill H.

Business Owner

Jill began a serious yoga practice in 2006 and believes that a dedicated asana practice can serve as a doorway to bliss, joy and life-changing connections. She became a certified yoga teacher with Yoga Flow’s teacher training under the instruction of Lisa Schrempp, Jason Magness, Chris Coniaris and other highly-respected & experienced Tucson yoga teachers. She believes that her journey as a teacher is continuous and that true learning comes from her interactions with the dedicated and inspiring students she has had the honor of sharing a class room with. Through teaching she hopes to expand and explore her own personal practice as well as bring the joy of yoga into the lives of those willing to open their hearts to this physically and spiritually powerful practice. Her classes focus on building strength and endurance supported by powerful, intentional, breathwork. Jill is also an avid rock climber and enjoys practicing AcroYoga.
