Yogurt Delight

I’m addicted to this place. Friendly service, very nice selection, and very tasty treats. I bring my family here when they visit from Las Vegas and they agree that its better than most similar business/​chains.

It would be nice if this place actually had frozen yogurt. Went there last night and stood there waiting for someone to come out and take my order. Waited about five minutes before someone finally appeared from the back. I ordered a cup of the the Chocolate Fudge Brownie frozen yogurt. The girl informed me they were out of it. She said they had a Mud Pie flavor that I might like. She let me try it. It was sugar free and I just didn’t like the flavor. I told her I would just take a cup of plain Chocolate. She tells me the Chocolate machine isn’t working. Are you kidding me. You have dry erase boards as menus. Is it that hard to remove the flavors that you don’t have. Or just inform the customer that you are out of a few flavors. I told the girl that I changed my mind and I was leaving. They could care less that I left. Definitely won’t be going back there.

Great yogurt and excellent service from young woman working today. They serve you insyead of the usual get your own but portions are huge and only suggestions would be greater selection of fresh fruits.

This is the perfect place for a family outing for ice cream. They have the perfect seats and tons of toppings. This is sure to become a family favorite.

Well, it is safe to say I’m already addicted to Yogurt Delight. Within a week of coming here for the first time we had already been back 5 times, brought a friend here and filled up our first frequent buyer card (10 stamps = a free small, 20 stamps = a free large). When we redeemed our first card they also had us right our name and number on the back to be put in to win a $ 10 giftcard! Yep, like I said. I addicted. Why might you ask? I can’t point to one reason but to start I’d say prices! Easily half the price of those fancy foofoo self service place. Maybe they don’t have a million toppings and 20 different yogurts but they do usually 10 froyo options (half of one of their machines is down right now though so its been 9) plus ice cream and other treats. Service is number 2 — super friendly staff. Always a pleasant experience and they were very helpful our first time in the store. Third would be that I love supporting locally owned places! They have something for everyone including indulgent ice creams and non-​fat low calorie yogurt. Everything we’ve had is great. The tart yogurt (which they normally have every day) is my favorite and I liked the health bar crunch a lot — add heath bar to it! So basically come check it out. Like their facebook page for their daily flavor posts!

I’ve tried all the frozen yogurt places in Tucson and none of them compare to Yogurt Delight. The quality of their yogurt is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Amazing! They also have a great selection of toppings and regular ice creams. But the yogurt is definitely something to talk about! Not to mention they have the cheapest prices per ounce I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend!

Ive been to a lot of fro-​yo places in Tucson, most are incredibly overpriced. Yogurt Delight is a breath of fresh air in that category, as well as their incredible selection of flavors. I usually come for the ice cream (their birthday cake is my favorite), but the yogurt is delectable as well. The staff is always kind and genuinely engaging, I wish they would open up a location on my side of town as well. Overall a really good business that I will keep taking my taste buds to on a regular basis.

I have a very nostalgic attachment to this place, I must admit. So going back after being gone for a few years, I hoped it would be as good as I remembered. It was. :)
Great selection of both ice cream and soft serve yogurt (my personal fav) — and lots of lower calorie types of yogurt– another score! Add on top of that, that for what you get, it’s way cheaper than many of the self-​serve places & the staff is incredibly attentive and kind.
Thanks for making it even better than I remember!
PS– pro tip: try the peanut butter froyo. SO GOOD.

I love Yogurt Delight!!! They have great options for people who aren’t interested in having a ton of carbs or are lactose intolerant… They even have ice-​cream but I truly enjoy coming here for the yogurt!!!

This is a great mom n pop ice cream shop! I had the vanilla yogurt and it was delicious homemade tasty good (just a tad on the sweet side though). I’ve had the sugar-​free yogurt before and I found it unbearable to eat, however, I am not a sugar substitute kind of person. It is nice that they have the option for those that need it. The staff is always very kind. Overall a good local business.

Hands down my favorite place to get froyo. I am obsessed with the peanut butter flavor. I also love that they have super healthy versions as well. Everyone has always been so nice and welcoming.
The other night my friends and I decided to meet for froyo around 930pm. I called and made sure they were open til 10 and they said they had just closed. BUT they asked how far away I was and if I got there ASAP they would still be there cleaning up and I was welcome to come in. Sure enough, they let us in and served us our froyo with huge smiles on their faces. Not a lot of businesses have this type of customer service. We have them good tips for that :)

Yogurt Delight is a Tucson original. They have regulars who come in everyday to get their fix — a beautifully prepared, delicious, healthy dessert. Heck, it’s so good for you, it could be dinner. And the yogurt is all Kosher!
What I especially appreciate is that they make me a dessert that is actually appealing to look at. Whenever I attempt to make my own at one of those serve yourself places, it looks like something the dog left in the yard. NOT HERE — every bite is beautiful and delicious.

I admitted long ago that I am a frozen yogurt addict. I love trying new places, and after a long hike in Sabino Canyon, I needed my fix. We decided to try Yogurt Delight because it was close and we could hop into Trader Joes afterwards.
The service was friendly, and the set up was cute. I immediately did not like that the yogurt wasn’t self service and they had no fruit toppings. They also only had 8 gloves of yogurt available and none of them were fruity. The yogurt itself was okay, but not nearly the best I’ve had.
It was worth a stop in, but I do not plan on returning. I must admit, the ice cream did look tasty when I peaked over to the other side on the way out.

I can’t decide if I want to give Yogurt Delight a two– or three-​star review. The yogurt is decent, though not the best, but their business practices are really greedy and not very customer-​oriented at all.
We’ll start with the good: the yogurt. I really like the flavor of the Heath bar frozen yogurt. It’s rich and tasty. However, the consistency of the yogurt itself is sometimes a little grainy. Not freezer burned or anything, it just has a grainy texture. I have no idea why, but sometimes it does. I still enjoy it well enough, though. My husband has tried their ice cream before, and he thought it too had a lot of rich and tasty flavor, but he’s not a big ice cream eater, and it’s not awesome enough to get him to eat it that often.
They have an ok selection of toppings, but nothing like the newer self-​serve places offer these days. They have all the basics, though, which is good enough for me. I like to get either Oreos or chocolate sprinkles. I personally think they charge a steep fee per topping, considering they don’t really give you that much. It would be an ok fee if they weren’t being stingy. It’s just some sprinkles, give me more than a light dusting. Geez. I’m pretty sure the price you pay to get the small portion of sprinkles is enough to pay for an entire jar of it. Meh.
What REALLY pisses me off about this place is that they have the audacity to charge you a fee if you want to pay with a debit or credit card. This is a cost of doing business. Absorb it into your prices. Don’t screw your customers over because they aren’t carrying cash. How hard of a concept is it to raise your prices by $ 0.30 instead of telling people they’re going to be punished for not having cash. It only serves to make some people feel a little (or in my case, a lot) aggravated. I simply do not eat here because I think this is a ridiculous business practice that shows exactly how much the owner thinks of his/​her customers.
The restaurant itself isn’t anything special, but it isn’t horrible. Will I be back? Maybe? If I’m really craving the Heath Bar yogurt, I guess, but I really don’t. There are so many places in town now that offer much better quality yogurt and more variety of toppings. So what if you have to serve yourself? You get exactly what you want and you pay for exactly that.

YD is a tight ship and serves both ice cream and lo-​cal frozen yogurt and you don’t pay out the nose for it, or pad the thighs for that matter. The teen lass and I stopped in for chocolate chip mint ice cream in waffle cones (drawback — no toppings) and it was good, but surprisingly un-​minty. The shop is clean and Spartan sparse, but the wide selection, affable service, and guilt-​free sweet fix will keep me coming back.

Way before frozen yogurt became the «it» dessert, and talks of probiotics and it’s healthy low calorie-​ness were spoken of highly among skinny b*tches everywhere, this place was serving up delicious yogurt options and oh yeah, the fat kid option (ice cream) too.
This simple shop– a few seats leading to the back of the shop where the counters are located… one with ice cream options and the other with frozen yogurt. I steer clear of the ice cream because the smooth, creamy, and light taste of the yogurt is ahhh-​mazzzing! Heath bar crunch and peanut butter are my favorites.
So do yourself a favor and step back in time to a low key creamery… it may not be much to look at but your taste buds and wallet will both be content.

I am in love with Yogurt Delight! I would always get one (or two) of the Wow Cow/​Skinny Minnie varieties, while my husband would get one of the regular versions and we’d both be 100% satsified. Everything is delicious. It’s family owned, and everybody is so friendly! This place is a must if you’re craving sweets but are watching your calories, or if you’re married to somebody who is!
I recently moved back to Portland, and have been looking for someplace similar to my beloved Yogurt Delight, but I haven’t found anything. I miss it so much, and its my first stop whenever I go back to Tucson!
