History
Established in 2011.
Blake and I have been volunteering at our church café for some time. Blake has worked in the coffee busienss for years, back at Seattle’s Best almost 20 years ago. I had my own business in Leavenworth for a couple years. Most recently lost my high paying job due to economy, etc. One day while going to get produce for the church café, we noticed the location was available and looked at each other. We decided we should consider it. About a week later while trying to decide what roaster to go with, Blake suggested that he was sure we should go check out Vashon and see what they were doing. Sure enough, they had been roasting again for about 2 years. We loved the coffee and enjoyed LOTS of it! But more than that, the people themselves made a big impression on us. We knew they were a group of people we wanted to work with! Thus, a great relationship was born. We hope to share that with each person that comes in for our coffee. We want to share A CUP OF LOVE with them!

Business Owner
What havent I done? I started out delivering newspapers for 5 years as kid, then started in management in the food industry as a teen. I enjoyed working with people, connecting to them while working in social services and nonprofits most of my life. There is nothing more rewarding than connecting with another person and making some kind of difference in their life. This is what has encouraged me to open Café Tazza D’Amore with Blake. Not only is he an amazingly talented barista, vocalist, worship leader and person, but he loves people as much as I do. We hope to connect with people and encourage them in the midst of their day!
