Courtyard Seattle Southcenter

Stayed here with my boyfriend when we went to Seattle during the winter. The hotel is 20 mins away from the airport. It’s close by to a shopping center, restaurants and the business sector. It’s also 30 mins away from downtown Seattle.
The staff were friendly and professional. Our room was clean when we came back from our day. The complimentary toiletries were from Paul Mitchell. There is no continental breakfast… But there is a place to buy food if you didn’t want to go out and eat.
I do have to say the bed was comfortable. The room was nicely decorated. But there is no heater in the bathroom.
The reason why I gave it 3 stars because they didn’t have a continental breakfast, but it’s still a nice place to stay.

Stayed here after a red-​eye flight on our way home to the East Coast from Hawaii, and I’m very happy we picked this place.
I knew my husband and I would be in early (our flight landed just before 8 a.m.), so when I called the hotel the night before to ask about early check-​in, I braced for a «sorry, you can’t check at 8:00 in the morning,» because really, where can you check in that early? Apparently it’s possible here. I was thrilled to get off our red-​eye flight from Hawaii, jetlagged and exhausted, and be able to take the hotel shuttle from the airport to a place where I could take a nap.
We had booked our room as part of a package promotion that granted us free breakfast. Unfortunately, and we didn’t realize this until check-​in, the hotel breakfast doesn’t begin until 6 a.m. We were taking a shuttle at 5 a.m. the next to get our flight home, so we would leave before breakfast. The desk clerk worked with us to allow us to use our free breakfast coupon the day we checked in, rather than the day we checked out. It was a big help, and made me feel like they cared about keeping our business.
The hotel shuttle service was fantastic. We were able to take the shuttle not just to and from our flights, but to and from the Link Light Rail station nearby (the easiest way to access downtown) as well. Shuttle service runs on top of every hour, then whenever it’s available, it seems. We called at 12:30 to request the shuttle to the light rail station for 1:00, but they said it was available right when we called, so we went then.
The only negative thing about this hotel was the wait to print out a boarding pass. I mean, I should have expected that, being an airport-​area hotel, but then the hotel should expect that and not have only two computers (which seem to double as a business center) available. I had to wait about 25 minutes while other people finished up.

Noisy business nearby. I was staying in the back left corner and could hear trucks loading and unloading every 30 min around the clock. Bring earplugs.

Always such an awesome stay here at courtyard. Friendliest staff and comfortable rooms. Free shuttle to and from the airport is a perk. The area is very central and close to many shops and restaurants. A definite must!

Cozy hotel! Perfect for a short trip. It’s away from the bustle of the city, with great access to the bus line. Free airport shuttle and there’s free wifi! Casual happy hour is great, and the food at the bistro is delicious. The staff is very friendly, and the parking is free too. The only down side is that the walls are thin and toiletries aren’t the greatest. But there’s a target nearby and a total wine shop right behind the hotel! :)

Nice rooms, friendly staff. However, THE WORST BREAKFAST FOOD I’ve ever eaten. The hotel charges you for breakfast and it tastes like «fake rubber» food! Food is better at Holiday Inn Express or Best Western (and that’s not saying a lot). At least, you know at HIE or BW that the food is mediocre. Marriott is simply charging you to put food on a plate! If you don’t like plastic, fake breakfast sausage (that smells like a wet dog). GO TO HAMPTON INN down the road. Best hotel breakfast out there.

Very conveniently located near the airport. Found the rate to be quite expensive for the quality of the property. It was close to 200/​night, and for that price really the only thing I can say is that the room was clean. Definitely not worth the rate on our stay.
That being said, the lobby seemed to have been recently renovated. It was very modern with a large café in the middle which served a range of hot items for breakfast/​lunch/​dinner, It was very convenient for picking up breakfast before heading out. It was also pretty busy in the morning. There seemed to be a buzz of business/​meeting activity which was interesting.
The elevators are accessed around the side of the lobby through a hallway of rooms, definitely not intuitive, nor was it convenient. The rooms were fine. Nothing special, very basic.

. Stayed for $ 89 /​night. I wanted to comment because the hotel was nice and clean. I had friends over and I the helpful front of house staff was able to accommodate me by giving me two chairs from the ball room. Thanks!
They have a nice little store with snacks, drinks, and toiletries. We didn’t swim in the pool or use the workout room but I liked that the hours were from 6am-​11pm (I don’t like hotels where the pool closes really early)… I wish they’d make it 24 hours since it doesn’t really seem to affect them, but anyways…

Love this place. Clean rooms helpful staff. The beds are nice and comfortable. Then to top it off. The hot tub looks like it was just set up, just a little heavy on the chlorine

If I had not found dried/​washed blood stains on my pillow and no response from management I would have given this hotel 3 or 4 stars. As a Courtyard, it has the usual Courtyard amenities and a very nice patio for sitting out for drinks or reading.
It is off the beaten path near a mall and close to the airport.
Check your pillows before staying.

This place was great! Fast airport pickup/​drop-​off and nice staff. Additionally, they had one of those wheels that you can spin if you’re a Marriott member which included freebies like any Starbucks coffee of your choice at the Courtyard Café. Good experience and walking distance to shops.

Lovely courtyard, manicured landscaping and furniture to sit outside and have a snack. Moat rooms have balconies, some with courtyard views. The standard two queen room has a large flat screen TV and refrigerator.

Three stars for the updated lobby, Starbucks coffee 724, competent friendly staff, and location.
Finding peanuts, the edible type, on the floor of my room not good. I’m not talking one I’m talking 5+. Makes you wonder what else did they skimp on when cleaning the room?
Fitness center: How about updating the treadmills, have weights over 15 lbs., and a cleaning solution to wipe down the Equip.
Oh another plus a super turbo flow shower was welcomed in the AM.

I stayed here for one night, and the location was excellent. There are both a Target and REI within walking distance.
The staff was very, very nice, and my room was clean and quiet. The workout room was clean and usable.
I would definitely stay here again!

I’m a big fan of Marriott and of Courtyard hotels and stay at Marriott properties anytime I go anywhere. This Courtyard is pretty nice, but they pissed me off.
I’m sorry, but changing me from the room with 2 queens that I reserved to a «suite» with 2 doubles does NOT count as an «upgrade» in my book. I specifically booked the room HERE so that I COULD get a room with 2 queens. None of us slept very well for all the elbows in the face and knees in the back crammed into the double beds. In hindsight, I should’ve gone and requested the original room I reserved, but it was late and we were tired and it was only for one night, so we just went with it.

This is not your average Courtyard — it got a swanky upgrade and is so fun!
They have a great lounge area with books, games, multimedia center, and tons of comfy seating.
The new café serves up fantastic eats — such a step above a «hot, continental» breakfast. Made to order, creative options.
Rooms are good, comfortable beds and varying pillow options. Clean and modern.

It feels like it’s located in the middle of the ghetto and suburbia. Maybe located in ghetto-​suburbia?
The staff and General Manager are the BEST!!! They take the time to know your name. I even made friends with the chef and my cleaning ladies. The rooms I were given were fairly large. They provide a free shuttle from the airport to hotel. It is a walk away to the newly remodeled Tukwila Mall.

This is a pretty standard courtyard… while there isn’t a bar, the front desk does have a pantry that you can raid. The gym is decently equipped.
There is a free shuttle to and from SEATAC.
Speaking of which, here is where the staff really impressed me — the front desk manager rode shotgun in the airport shuttle, and actually checked everyone in during the ride back to the hotel! She asked each of us our names and rather we’d like a high or low floor, facing the courtyard or the exterior, and then she radioed back who was coming and what their preferences were. When we arrived they handed us our cards and we were set! I thought it was a really nice touch.
I’m more of a starwood guy now, but I’d still stay at this courtyard if I needed to be close to SEATAC
