This is actually a solid five star library. I listed two pros and two cons below but it still deserves the five stars despite the cons. The Foster library represents what a library should be: offering great services specifically for the local community, friendly and helpful staff that are attentive and an easy to navigate, easy to utilize space Pros: 1) It’s small so you get to work with the staff closely, if your need to, Plus it just feels like the kind of library size and feel you would want in your community(or the kind you grew up with, like me). 2) For being small it has a good selection. Various kinds of books, up to date DVD collection, multiple magazines and space for kids, people bringing their laptops and computer users. Cons: 1) It’s small. I know the same as pro number one but it’s true. Because it’s small it can get loud during the summer with lots of kids inside. Plus there only, I believe, about 16 computers. It may sound like a lot but it fills up quickly and your wait time may be longer than at a bigger library like the one in Burien. 2) Opens kinda late. The library does not open until at least 10am so you can’t sneak in before work. It would just be better, i think, if they opened between 7am and 9am, versus 10am.
