Hayek’s Leather Furniture

Hayek’s building is nothing very interesting from the outside, in fact we were afraid it was going to be a bust to have driven down from Issaquah… but hang on, it’s full of great pieces of leather furniture. Just like 16 years ago when they had a small shop on Western Avenue in Seattle their style is similar to high end Euro like Roche Bobois but much more accessible. I loved the pieces I purchased in 1998 and they are still in great shape.
This time we again worked with owner Hussein Hayek and custom created exactly what we wanted without any difficulty. Had we not wanted a specific style and size and color there were a lot of beautiful options on the floor. They aren’t spending money on overhead, and it shows in their competitive pricing. They aren’t trying to carry all kinds of brands, it appears they have a longstanding relationship with an American company whom they can depend on with quality and delivery. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend visiting Hayek if you want leather and even if you thought leather was too aspirational. The different grades start at a price that cannot be beat in any fabric and will hold up better.

It took us a while to find the right place to shop good quality and genuine leather sofa (set) and Hayek’s is definately the store we were looking for. The sofas are not cheap but with really good quality and taste. Undoubtly, they are much more solid and stylish than those you could find in chain department stores. We received many compliments from our friends and we are really happy with the puchase so far. As for the delivery, since we bought sample sofas, It took us about a week to get the sofas in good condition. I

Furniture shopping can be such a drag. Store after store, you start seeing the same pieces at different stores. When I went to Hayek’s, I was pleasantly surprised that most of the furniture I saw was different than what I had been seeing at the other stores. Is it the lowest price? No. You can get less expensive furniture. But after considering the various options, we realized that for the slightly additional cost it was worth it to have good quality leather furniture. There is such a difference in the type of «leather» furniture you will find at the various stores.
I have been pleased with the entire experience, including delivery. Sofa and chair came on time and exactly as we hoped for.

Being an anti-​leather because it’s too cold person I was suprised when we decided to go with leather furniture and Love, Love, Love it. The quality of the product is great and it was delivered early! My husband and I fight over the recliner and are considering getting another one. It was great to have a choice on what quality and color of leather we wanted.
