More than 25 years after its founding, Husky Idealease continues as one of the largest family-​owned truck leasing companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Our History

Husky Idealease was founded as a part of Husky International Trucks by Mike McDevitt in 1985. Mike worked for International Trucks for 23 years prior to starting Husky. Our two locations represent International, Isuzu and Ottawa trucks. Husky Idealease also began in 1985 with Bill McJannet as the Manager. Bill spent 15 years with one of the major leasing companies prior to starting Husky Idealease with Mike. Today Mike? s two sons, Chris and Matt, also work for Husky as Managers of the Seattle and Spokane locations.
