Everyone at K&y nails have the best customer service! I’ve had my nails done by i think all of them there and they all do a really great job on my nails. I will only go to this salon and especially because they have the best prices. They are very friendly and have such a big variety of colors in shellac! You can tell they are all about their customer service! Very nice people!

This place is THE BEST!!! I have been to several places in seattle and have never had such great service. Top of the line pedicure is the deluxe. It’s a must, just try it and you shall see. ENJOY

Omg. I’ve never had an experience like this. I’ve been getting my nails and toes done for 15+ years and this took the cake. Such attention to detail. These ladies were awesome. It’s like they were there to cater to me specifically. I came in for a pedicure and chose just the basic but it was anything but… she was so attentive to getting toes perfectly shaped and cleaned, the massage was wonderful and the wax was the cherry on the cake. As if that wasn’t enough the real treat here was the manicure! she did it as i sat in the pedicure chair and she also paid every attention to detail she could! She took her time getting every hang nail i had, she gave me a beautiful shape and made sure my nails were perfect. Then to top it all off she massaged my shoulders and oh my when i tell you it was divine i mean truly divine! My neck, and shoulders feel wonderful and it was seriously above and beyond. If i had a complaint the only one i could think of is that i don’t wanna go back to work now!!!

7:20pm on a Friday night and I need a fill… Unilocal it! I was in the tukwila area and decided to give K&Y a try. Best last minute decision EVER! Now most nail salons when close to closing give a mediocre, quickie to get yo butt outta there. ABSOLUTE opposite. My sweet nail technician, Lena took her time and did amazing work. My shellac polish is FLAWLESS! Her hand massage was amazing and that lemongrass hot towel! Lawwwd! She even gave me a discount for it being my first time! This is officially my nail shop go to!

I’m happy with my pedicure here. Music videos. Relaxed wait time. The ladies were professional and not fake. Great pedicure service (hot stone included) and a longer foot massage than I’m used to.

Very sweet ladies. Lots of detail and attention on my pedicure. Good fill and polish. Some people get frustrated with how relaxed they are and complain about being slow, but when you go to a salon you need to relax and go with the flow. Getting pampered is a treat and you just can’t enjoy it when you are in a hurry. Maybe some people need to wait and go when they have the time to relax and enjoy the positive attitude of some sweet women.

Not a great experience! Very few color choices to choose from, no lotion at all, no massage on arms or hands just a few pounds on my back!

Was not happy with my nails! I was very polite and asked if they could do my nails a certain way and they said yes. I told them I didn’t want to waste their time as well as mine and still insisted they could. Not only were the unable to do my nails, they unpolished and left Polish on my hand and cuticles. Had to go to another shop in southcenter mall to have them fixed and done the correct way.

I give two stars to this place just because they were nice. I wanted to like this place but the lady who did my nails would constantly put nail polish around my nails on the skin and only cleaned them up with her nail rather than with an acetone. There were a couple of fruit fly and didn’t seem to bother anyone. The station was not clean. And lastly but the worst, the nail polish smells a lot. It’s not a good quality polish. I don’t know how to get ride of the smell even now hours after the manicure. I have headache and almost want to remove the polish to get ride of the smell.

I’d love to give them more stars because they were nice, polite and quick. However, there were SO many fruit flies as I was getting a manicure/​pedicure that I was constantly swatting them away from my face, feet, legs etc… I was a bit shocked that the employees weren’t at the least bit concerned with them. My stylist was also not paying complete attention and cut my cuticle so deep it was bleeding. Bummer. Really wanted to like this place!

OH MYYYYYYYYYYY GODDDDDDD THEY ARE SLOW!!! I was told my wait is 15 mins. 15 mins has turned into 40. I’m here right now. My wait is so long I have time to post about it.
The only reason I’m not leaving is because by the time I get somewhere else in the area, I will lose time driving and I have a flight in the morning.

I was there to get my pedicure done, it was amazing, they people who work there very friendly, the place is very clean they give me hot stone massage, with the paraffin, which is I had ever done before. I definitely come back.

I went to K and Y nails for the first time yesterday and it was horrible. There were
3 ladies there when I went and 2 were really nice bit of course I got the other one.
I asked for shellac the lady put way to many coats on, like 5 or 6. There was a lot of polish left in the sides of my nails and there were a lot of smudges. Today, one day after I got them done my nail chipped.
Don’t go here there are a lot of better places.

I’ve been here a few times now because it’s close to my work. Every time I get a shellac manicure, nothing fancy or difficult, always just one color. Today is probably the last time I’ll go back though.
The ladies are nice and the salon is relatively clean. The layout is somewhat awkward and the manicure tables seem to be shoved together. What really frustrated me was the lack of detail once other clients are waiting. They try and bounce between clients to get everyone started, or finished, and the result is a sloppy and expensive mess.
At first my manicure seemed to be going well, she paid a lot of attention to trimming and shaping. Once the paint began, the gel got on the skin of every single nail and she scraped every.single.nail. for all 3 coats. Mid way through another client came in and she bounced between us, missing a top coat on one of my nails. The final result was a nice thick coat of shellac around my cuticles, which I know will be lifting and ridged the second my nails grow out.
What baffled me was that she FILED my nails on the sides and tips after I was done. I’m just praying the polish doesn’t lift from the tips as well. I think it’s time I move on to another salon.

My first manicure went great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt like home and would definitely come back.

4^th of July so I was happy to just find a place that was open on a holiday. I broke one completely off so I couldn’t put off a fill until my regular salon opened the next day. We were attending a bbq later I wish I would have just gone looking shabby bc this nail salon is seriously a joke. The shape I asked for on the left and the shape I got on the right. gotta love independent nail consultants that just do their own thing regardless of what you want. I came for a fill and my nails were already in a pointy square shape that I wanted! So it really isn’t hard to keep the same shape. I waited 30 mins she spent an hour on my nails and wanted another 30 mins for corrections but I had to leave. Oh this is also the matte top coat I got it was milky gluely stringy and def not matte. She put one top coat on stripped it with rubbing alcohol and put another on. Awful. So bad that all I can do it laugh $ 17 for a fill no tip. I will taking off the color and correcting the crooked filing as soon as I have time tomorrow. She did massage my hands at the end but after how horrible my nails look that was the least she could do lol

It’s a holiday weekend so the wait was long and the pedicure itself was mediocre… I hate that they trap you by letting you soak your feet right when you come in, then make you wait while they finish the 2 people ahead of you… The lady who was before me asked her nail technician if she could hurry since she had been there for an hour… Guess I’m not the only person who had to wait 30 min till someone actually worked on them. do basically give yourself 1 hour here… 30 min wait and 30 min pedi.

Wow thank you to kim & jackie who stayed super late to accomodate me and my friend as we walked in 10 minutes until closing for 2 manicures. They were very welcoming and kind, warm and attentive. They both had their hands full with 2 customers to each, and yet they still said yes if we were willing to wait. And they even said yes to one more person after us.
They didn’t skimp on the pedicures at all, not rushing thru it or doing lousy work. The massage was actually the best I have had in such a long time! Kim really put all her effort into the massage, and took the time to do a little nail design on my toes. It was 915pm by the time we were done with our pedicures; they had called their kids to let them know they were coming home late when they said yes to us and that really tugged at my heart strings that they would take that time away from family to deliver quality customer service.
I cant thank them enough for their work. As we left they said goodbye to us with a smile. I will DEFINITELY be back here.

Went in talked about what i wanted came up with price after knowing what i wanted and kept uping the price. Then when i said never mind she charged me for a file i already did and doing my hands in cold water. They had a bad attitude and then said they couldn’t do what i wanted. I’m not paying 35 dollars for what i don’t want after saying you could do it.

Horrible service and dirty fish tank… They also don’t honor the prices that they have posted
