Couch was supposed to come with accent pillows. Pillows never came. Called and followed up a bunch of time. It’s been almost a year now. They said sorry the material you selected is not available. I said, what’s available, send that? They said sure. But no pillows yet.
One star for not giving me my pillows!

If you are looking for anything Asian-​style specific, this is the place to go. Also I feel like they don’t work on commission (maybe they do). But they are definitely not pushy as many others.

Came in here with my kids and only checked in to remember it. Walked in with my two sons and wasn’t greeted at all. There were at least four people standing behind the counter just looking and chatting. I walked around briefly and decided to leave. I was never spoken to once and that’s unacceptable. It was the only furniture shop on Southcenter Drive that I experienced this rude behavior.
Don’t judge a book by its cover, I had money to spend and thankfully it wasn’t with you. Step your game up.

Update: We are on week 10. They agreed to give us the floor model of our missing furniture and a $ 100 discount (the piece was originally $ 160). A nice compromise and now we have the rest of our set. On the plus side, customer service is really nice, and the people there are informative without being pushy.

I had purchased a memory foam mattress from a discount place, then came here to look for some other furniture. Turns out they had the same mattress I had just purchased for half the price ($ 400 instead of $ 800). The other place wouldn’t refund me but they were nice enough to prove the price to the other place to I could get a price match.
I then bought some nice barstools from them, and would definitely go back in the future.

We recently moved to Seattle and needed a new couch and coffee table. After looking at many stores in the area, we found Pacific Furniture Gallery to be a perfect mix of style and affordability.
Service: Our salesperson Norine and the owner were both knowledgeable and helpful. Not a high-​pressure atmosphere, just informative which I prefer.
Quality: Our couch is from an Oregonian company and our coffee table is from a Washington company. We are very happy with the quality of our items and are enjoying both thoroughly.
Delivery: We had the couch delivered on a Tuesday, after we purchased it on a Sunday. Very easy delivery process. We decided to carry out the coffee table. While we were moving it into our apartment, two different people complemented the table.
Overall: We are very happy with our selections, and will return if we need more!

This was a super experience. We were looking for a new couch– ours was wrecked. I expected high-​pressure, crazy car salesman-​like approaches.
Nope. Instead, we got a low-​key saleswoman who gave great info and details, and otherwise let us be.
We got two amazing love seats at a good price, and they both were delivered as promised. I’d absolutely go to Pacific again. Good selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff.

My Partner & I were on the hunt for a TV stand and we chose Tukwila/​Southcenter because there are a ton of furniture stores in the area. Everything from IKEA to Westfield Southcenter to strip malls to MOR… you name it. We figured we’d look around and do our ‘shopping around’ which is always good.
I should say, we’d already gone to Pier 1 and Cost Plus on a previous shopping trip and I wasn’t impressed with the quality of their furniture. Prices are okay but I hate buying veneer or any type of faux wood. Maybe when I was in college but that’s not for me these days. If I can help it, I want furniture for the long haul.
We stopped at Pacific Furniture Gallery because we both realized it was right next to Lamps Plus and, hey, why not. Prior to now I’d never noticed it. We were immediately greeted by a friendly woman who asked us what we were looking for. Although I tend to fend off salespeople, I decided on this shopping trip I’d be direct and try to use them for help. I told her we were looking at TV stands. She immediately offered to point them out and started with one that she said was made in Arlington, WA. I almost thought I heard her incorrectly. Not only made in the USA but made just an hour or so north of Seattle? Unheard of!
She proceeded to show us several others. Surprisingly, all were nice. Some larger than others, some more traditional. But I kept going back to the one that was allegedly made in WA. After giving it several ‘once overs’ I said I wanted it to be on the list. Honestly, I remember it being the first one I liked so far out of any previous trip.
To continue on, we went to Ashley Furniture next. I wish I knew in advance how disappointing this would be. To sum it up, a salesman approached us right away and asked what we were looking for. I said TV stands and he showed us where they were mostly located. Then I asked if they were made in the US, as Ashley is semi-​known for that, to which he stated a very confident yes.
Then we went to JR Furniture and this is where we learned the truth about Ashley Furniture. Nobody approached us at this store and we managed to find the area with TV stands. Oddly, they resembled those we’d just seen in Ashley. Then I saw a sign and realized they were the ones we just saw in Ashley! But, JR didn’t have them backing up to a wall so I also noticed the large ‘made in China’ print on the back of several. No big surprise, but didn’t like finding out that the salesman at Ashley had BS’d us.
So we were done looking at furniture that day. We returned to Pacific the following weekend and decided to order the TV stand we were first introduced to. I explained to the salesperson that we’d seen some ‘doozies’ out there and that I was most taken by the local craftsmanship of the TV stand at Pacific. They reassured us that it was in fact made in Arlington. So we told them exactly what we wanted and they told us it would be 3 – 5 weeks.
Well, after 5 weeks and a few extra days, we’re the proud owners of a beautiful dark walnut stained TV stand that feels pretty darn solid, if I do say so myself. It’s very sturdy and you can see the quality everywhere you look and feel. Even the nickel hardware is amazing. So it goes without saying we’re more than satisfied with our purchase.

Came here last Saturday the last of 8 furniture stores we visited while looking for a new couch & loveseat. We had seen it all. Junk, funky, cheap, very expensive. Non exsistent sales people & pushy sales people. Thank God we found this place.
We walked in to a nice showroom of beautiful moderately priced quality furniture. Norene greeted us & asked us if she could help us. We told her what were looking for & she pointed us in the direction of a few couches that matched our needs. She then left us alone to look at them & discuss them. She returned at an appropriate time to see if we had any questions & to discuss the merits of the couch we liked. She said they were able to sell us those couches off the floor & deliver them in 4 days time! Wow!
They were delivered on time by polite & professional delivery people. Yes there was a $ 125 delivery fee from Tukwila to our house near the UW. Well worth it for my husband to not have to drive down there & back twice in his truck that gets 8mpg.

We ordered a king size bed frame on 8÷19÷12. We were told that the bedframe would be delivered on the 7^th of Sept. After 2 months, we had not heard anything about the status or whereabouts of the bedframe. We called customer service multiple times during these 2 months, where we were promised delivery dates and a temporary king size bed (all of which weren’t met). Finally, we were told that the bedframe would arrive mid-​October. Again, it didn’t come. We called again the end of October and found out that they were unable to send us the bedframe due to various reasons that weren’t disclosed. We were told that a refund was on the way; the customer service rep even took our credit card number on 10÷26÷12. I called back 3 days later, only to be assured that the money (about $ 1700) would be refunded shortly. Now it has been another week, and I still haven’t gotten my money back. The manager said he would send me a check, while the rep said she would refund the money through the credit card. They have held my $ 1700 for at least 2 months now.

Two months ago we purchased a sectional at pacific furniture. three weeks later, we got already our furniture without any damages, stains, or problems. The usual waiting time would have been 4 – 6 weeks, since it’s customized and shipped. We love our sofa and we are very happy about this purchase. Honestly, before ordering this furniture we were in dozen different stores. We found nice sectionals before but also really incompetent staff and we don’t buy the cat in the sack (you know what I mean). The worders at the Pacific Furniture store are very pleasant to deal with. Our salesperson was «Byron», a really nice guy who is very knowledgeable about the products and their service. He also isn’t pushy, running and sitting behind you all the time, too serious, ignoring any questions or not reachable when needed like quite a lot of other salespeople we met before. When you want great furniture, competence, and incredible service, this is the place to go to.
The best about it: the service doesn’t stop after purchasing. We still received tips on how to clean it and that we could come back when there would be any problems. As a matter a fact, we will be back even when there are no problems. :)

My boyfriend and I needed a couch. After failing at a dozen furniture stores (apparently we are not a couch-​compatible couple), we drove past Pacific Furniture Gallery and noticed its grand opening balloons. As it turns out, it was more of a reopening because Pacific had changed its «Hy» name and its inventory to reflect a less crazy modern (ex. trendy purple couches) and more normal person style.
When we went in, we were instantly greeted by a very friendly saleswoman who gave us a quick tour and then let us wander by ourselves. After visiting so many other stores, it was really refreshing not to have a salesperson follow us from couch to couch and sit down with us. It’s just creepy when they do that.
After only a few minutes, we found the sofa of our dreams. I cannot believe we actually agreed on one. The saleswoman quickly came to us and talked us into a matching chair. I still don’t know how she did that. She’s just really good I guess and I’m weak. Whatever. I love the chair. The prices were great and I liked all of the options we had with the fabric.
We were told it would arrive in six weeks or less, and we received it in three. When we went to go pick it up, we were told that the deliveryman failed to get it from their nearby warehouse so we’d have to drive five minutes to go get it there. Not a big deal, just slightly inconvenient since my boyfriend wanted to drive the u-​haul as little as possible. We followed the friendly couch lady to the warehouse and got our couch and chair. All was good until we got home…
Here’s a note to my future-​self – measure the couch in the store. Apparently, it was slightly too wide to fit in the stairwell or the elevator. My boyfriend and I freaked out for about half an hour, then called up the store. Couch lady (Allison I think?) was very friendly. Unfortunately, they don’t allow returns on items like this so we were really freaked out. Luckily, she called the couch maker and we learned that we could disassemble it. Magic! We now know the innerworkings of the couch. As I type, my boyfriend is reassembling it in our living room.
Hmm. This got pretty long. To sum up: Amazing customer service. Great selection/​prices. Not so great return policy. Slight inconvenience picking up the couch. Maybe next time we’ll just spend the $ 90 for delivery.
I definitely recommend this place. But do grab some free cookies and popcorn at Mor, just because.
