Hands down 5+stars. The fact is that if you are being your computer to get worked on its cause your not as smart as this team, also if selling something rem your computer is dated the day u pay for it new in a store so with being said in no way should their be a bad review on this place.
As for my experience I am from out of town working got a new Mac finally decided to part with old one, they were able to save my information just fine. The most amazing part, is the manager. I was confused on how it all worked selling and getting my stuff saved. Well they didn’t know all the anomalies but my son happen to leave his wallet in my truck when I came to work, and he had my visa bank card so all I had was my atm card. So I running close to 7 racing to get the stuff before holidays so my son could set it up for me over the weekend. Either way I would have had to run to bank, was trying to avoid 2 trip to this area. The money was not the issue but more The driving. In the end how it worked out, I would drove 5 hours or days whatever it takes to be back next weeks to honor the arrangement. I will tell you that manager has a good core, small town mentality for trust, pro big city smarts.
Fact is every company has to make a profit to survive and keep it profitable and stainable. Bit your tong look to yourself if u have neg comments to share. I felt this place and staff was above arrange and would go back anytime. I have found my out of town for work computer Specialiest, since I for sure am not the smarties with computers. Thank you!

Recommend… a big NO! Brought my brand new laptop tablet, the guy said it has virus and they need it taken off. not done on time as promised. Finally got a call later (after 2 days) telling me that my wireless Bluetooth keyboard is not working. What the!!! it was perfectly fine when i dropped it off! Went to store and got my laptop really fast. Good place to buy junk computer and parts!! but not to have them fix!

I had 2 really old towers and several laptops that needed to have data wiped and the computers recycled. When I went in, I was directed to where the hand carts are so you can load the pcs from your car and take them up the ramps into the store. They removed and punched out the hard drives from the old towers after determining I wanted those punched. (They asked if I wanted them punched or wiped. Punched means they will literally put holes in the hard drives.) There is a $ 5 charge for each pc that is treated this way. The laptops were all wiped with no charge on them. Service was professional. The next time I need to recycle a laptop, I’m coming back here.

Dirty. Seemed like everything I touched had a stickyness to it. Saw food on a few things. Yuck! Could not get any help. Guys working in back and only one in front. Had planned on spending a hundred or two for a «newish» build. Selection is unknown since I couldn’t get any help. Guess I’ll try Craigslist again.

I’m extremely happy for finding this place, I should have used them so many years ago. I just purchased 25 monitors for about 900 dollars, all 19 inches all in great shape, all working completely fine. And all of them were Dells, (not saying that Dell is the best but much better than Westinghouse). The sales guy there that I deal with is amazing, because of him and the manager I have been back on 3 more occasions in less than a week!
I am excited, and happy to have been able to deal with this fine wine jewel next to the mall. Though everything is used, the prices and service make up for everything. THANK YOU!

I walked in on a whim. I’ve had two old hard drives that I pulled like a sacrificial lamb from old computers before they went to the dumpster many years before. And the data on them? Priceless to me. Years of college pictures, old band recordings, indie bands with hard to find albums, live rarities, college writings, old song lyrics, and most of my writing portfolio. That’s a lot of crap to be missing. Obviously I can live without them because I have for years, but I’ve always thought of getting some junky computer to throw them in and puking everything off of them.
So I asked the salesperson what he recommended for a cheap shell to throw my hard drives on, just so I could get what I needed. I was looking for a computer, not having any luck with any of the enclosures for drives to sit externally. When he brought me to one, I was skeptical…
But on getting home and hooking it up? Sure it’s cheaply made and I had to use rubber bands to hold it together because screw holes didn’t fully line up (And there were no instructions too), but it did what I needed, and to see those old files? Beautiful.
I was looking at prices as I walked in. Not too bad. I think I agree with other reviewers that this wouldn’t be where I bought a full system, but they’ve got a good selection of parts.
Highly recommend. They know their stuff, and if you know how to ask what you’re looking for? They’re very fair.

Got a replacement charger for my dell laptop here for $ 11! Amazing. The guy behind the counter was knowledgable and helpful. He helped me test out a few different ones to get the best one.

Had to go there again yesterday, computer problems, they fixed it while I was there and I was not even late to work! Was going to leave the tower and come back but they did it as I waited! LOVE THESE GUYS SO MUCH!!!

Don’t go to Radio Shack — go here instead, rummage through the bins ‘o cables, and find treasure! My favorite electronics store ever, especially for finding older stuff. They also will take whatever you’ve got to recycle — don’t throw it in the dumpster, drop it here instead.

They take damn near everything. Great place for dropping off old electronics. If you are looking for a cheap computer that works… this is the place. The only problem they seem to have is you can’t find their staff very easily. You can walk around for half an hour and no one will say anything to you.

I bought my third computer there this week. When my computer conked out about 6 months ago, RE-​PC sold me exactly what I wanted (a Dell optiplex desktop format with XP) for under $ 200. When I had a problem with something I bought, they fixed it for me. When my wife’s and sister-in-law’s computers died more recently, I got reliable used computers for them. All 3 of us are very pleased with our new used computers. The Tukwila store has excellent management; the staff is well trained and friendly. It’s a long slog for me to get there through the traffic on 405, but it’s worth it for the money I save and reliable equipment they sell. I recommend RE-​PC to all my friends and family. It’s also a convenient place to recycle old computers, electronics and TVs.

If you like computers and have ever scrounged a junkyard, Re-​PC is the best of both worlds.
This is my go-​to place for dirt-​cheap surge protectors, cords and cables. If I needed old circuit boards, drives or CPUs I’d be in hog-​heaven. Good prices on older printers, scanners, monitors, server racks, laptops, you name it. I’ve even scored a couple of vintage bits. like a mint, fully working KayPro and an original Compaq portable.
IMHO the Tukwila location has better selection than the SODO store, plus the staff are way friendlier. Highly recommended.

A paradise for people seeking vintage electronics. They got a major inventory of batteries, cables, CD/​DVD drives, keyboards, monitors, speakers and so much more at great prices. If they don’t have it then the Seattle location in Sodo probably does. There are computer systems that are set up to show customers that actually work before they buy.
The Ink Shop inside the store was helpful staff members that know ink better than other the major office supplies stores. Why would you pay full price from Office Depot, Office Max and Staples for printer ink cartridges when you can refill or get a re-​manufactured for a fraction of the price? You can save money and take by stopping by and talking to the staff here.

This place is just great. I often bring in e-​tronic waste that is left at our condos and workplace as they recycle it free of charge (except UBS which are $ 5). I’m not much into old computers but have bought RAM from them in the past for friends who needed to update their computers. The staff is very friendly and know their stuff. They also have a lot of vintage electronics on the back wall and I’ve found a few things for my collection. Overall great place!

These guys a pretty helpful over all. I’m not into old computer parts but if you are, this is your place. I was able to bring my old laptop in for recycling, free of charge, which was nice. Now I go for the Ink Stop, which is located inside this store. The proprietor of the Ink stop is incredibly nice and knowledgeable and will tell you the truth. He prevented me from buying some of his ink for a new printer because my older printer was considerably better and the ink was cheaper. Seems like he wants to help you make the right decision, not the decision that always puts more money in his pocket. I can certainly appreciate that.

Lots of commodity PC parts, including piles of video cards that were dreamy high-​end models not so long ago. Need mice, CD/​DVD drives, monitors, speakers, memory, keyboards? They have piles and tubs. A few nice audio interfaces and a moderate amount of Mac stuff are collected towards the counter.
Scads of more esoteric and vintage gear are also present… I recall a time clock, a few racks of awesome-​looking network gear, and a smattering of audio and video mixers/​switches. Projectors, videoconferencing gear, and monster office printers. If you need a plug in power supply for a laptop or something, they have a huge number.
I did have to wait a bit to talk to someone, but I was impressed with their patient and comprehensive explanations to the people ahead of me. While I waited, one fellow whipped apart a PC laptop in a flurry of parts and owner winces, which was entertaining to watch. When it was my turn, they bent over backwards (and into some bins behind the counter) to dig out the rare part I needed. The checker pointed me to a better product than the one I had picked from my random wanderings, which is pretty awesome.
I love my local business Olygeek, which also does computer repair/​recycling/​disposal; this location of RE-​PC is a superstore + museum in comparison, and their prices are a little better, too.

Oh My God!!! What the heck is wrong with these people!!! I went in there and asked what it would cost to replace the cracked screen on my laptop. He asked me what size it was and said he had a few 17.2 and showed me a couple screens and said it would be $ 35.00 for the screen and $ 85.00 to install it. I said I would bring it down and we could check it out. I showed up the next day and he brought out a piece of paper for me to sign. But said it was $.50.00 for the screen and $ 85.00 for the install. I told him he had already told me $ 35.00 and he said No I don’t believe I said that. Rather than hassle over $ 15.00 I said alright, Whatever lets just get it done. YESTERDAY! two days after I dropped it off I get a phone call and they have one they think might work and it is $ 85.00!!! WTF!!! So I said HELL NO! I will be in tomorrow to pick up my laptop. I showed up first thing this morning to get my laptop and he hands me a diagnostics bill for $ 45.00 and my laptop! Really!!! You guys raised the price on me three times and wanted to install a screen you weren’t sure would work and have me pay for you to check it on my computer! I picked up my laptop and put it in it’s case and said I am not giving you a frigging dime! Sue me. I have NEVER in my life been scammed like that by a business so blatantly. I am still in shock and this is the just the beginning. I am going to file a claim with BBB tomorrow. THIS PLACE SUCKS. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

This is THE place to come to if your computer died and you need one cheap and fast! A few years ago I picked up a Gateway tower with windows XP for $ 100! After XP was discontinued. This was a score for me as I hate Vista.
I came back this weekend looking for a good used monitor. They had a huge selection of flat screen monitors and also what I call the beast of a monitor. You know, the big box monitors. They ranged in price from $ 15 to $ 130.
The folks that work there are very helpful and answered all my questions.
It was fun to explore all the vintage stuff. They had a funky looking thing called an oscilloscope. I didn’t know what it was so I googled it and found it to be a machine from the 70’s that measures voltage and frequency of an electronic signal. I have no idea what you’d do with it these days but I’m sure it’s something that a collector might prize.

You can find all sorts of Classical IT Gadgetry @ this place. I remember buying some 21in –22in CRT’s back in the day that kept me playing Warcraft 3 in high resolution. Most of the stuff consist of AS-​is, Used & New. You can find those many hard to find items that they don’t sell at you favorite Best buy or Fry’s Electronics Store.
