Red Mango

Wonder why this Red Mango is different?
1) They advertise a buy a $ 25 gift card, get a $ 5 bonus free. The workers did not know about this and all they could do was say they were out of the coupons/​gift cards.
2) The tart flavor was not tart and the froyo was smooth and creamy like soft serve ice cream. Is this NOT good as it had a smooth texture that tasted like melted plastic and oil with NO yogurt flavor.
Far from refreshing.

The white peach frozen yogurt with the Mango and blueberries is absolutely my favorite. If nothing else, I will come here for that, and it is effing. delicious.

Easy to get to in the mall, in the middle of the food court.
Tried a tropical fruit parfait.
One thing they didnt skimp out on was the assorted fruit, but because of that, it also didn’t feel like I was eating a parfait. There was enough granola, but not yogurt. Sure Id normally take the fruit over yogurt, but just an observation.

Red Mango has a lot of selection as far as frozen yogurt and fruit toppings go. The staff here are alright, but they get the job done. Definitely one of the best frozen yogurts around Seattle.

I don’t know if there’s anything better than Red Mango. It really is my all time favorite frozen yogurt and I wish there was one closer to home! It’s worth the drive, though. We went Saturday afternoon and the staff were so friendly, we tried a new flavor which was fantastic, the store was clean and there was lots of seating. They have wonderful toppings! This is a must if you’re in the mall!!!

Hmmmm if you want FRO-​YO you go to places like Red Mango, Pinkberry, Orange Leaf, Yogurt Land, etc… if you’re not digging the tart taste perhaps Ice-​cream is up your alley? or perhaps Dairy Queen? Just saying other places will cater to your tastes =).
I really enjoyed the pomegranite fro-​yo with fresh cut pineapple & mango. Having worked at a frozen yogurt place before I was actually pretty surprised how generous the staff was with the topping. I’ve been to the Bellevue Red Mango before but this one seemed to have lower pricing? and the portion seemed to be a lot more filling and no hole in the middle like I had experienced at the Bellevue location. The girl who helped me definitely hooked it up!

Had the seasonal PUMPKIN SPICE FROYO with graham crackas, and it tasted like pumpkin pie!

This is probably the worst Red Mango I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of them in Seattle area and the 2 in Las Vegas. I love Red Mango and I think there yogurt is 5 star however the service at this location is consistently pretty bad. Usually there are 3 – 4 people behind the counter and they all just talk among themselves and you have to ask for help I guess. One time they had these coupons for the Spoonable smoothies, I have no clue what the kid was making and I had one before at Bellevue. He just starting throwing stuff in a blender and it turned into some milky crunchy mess. I told him I didn’t think it was right since it was supposed to have yogurt in it and be «spoonable» not a liquid. I just took it because I was pissed and it took forever for them to make. The management at this location needs to implode this whole crew cause they are not cutting it.

Didn’t have the best experience here. Despite hearing rave reviews about Red Mango, I just am not a fan of the style of yogurt. I prefer sweet froyo, not tart froyo… and everything here is tart/​bitter, regardless of flavor.
Having never been to a Red Mango before, I assumed it would be like other froyo places. I would request my flavor and then they would bring the cup of my flavor over to the toppings area and ask what I would like on top. Instead, the girl behind the counter stared at me until I told her I wanted to try the Madagascar Vanilla. She rang it up at the register and stared at me again. So I said I wanted yogurt chips on top. She rang it up, I paid, and then she made the yogurt. It was fine to do it in that order, I guess, but it wasn’t exactly the most glowing customer service I have ever received, to say the least.
Prices seemed HIGH for what I got. I got a small with ONE topping and it was over $ 4 dollars! What the heck? I can get way more yogurt and way more toppings at any other yogurt place in the greater Seattle area for that much.
And, like I said before, I am simply not a fan of tart yogurt… I know that’s a personal preference, but it just lacks deliciousness.
I highly doubt I will be back here.

Red Mango is alright, just that I can’t get past the almost $ 6 price for a small cup. Mine tasted good, got the Vanilla with raspberries and little chocolate pieces. I probably will go elsewhere for good fro yo at a more reasonable price :-/

I love Red Mango’s yogurt the most compared to all the others in the area! I like the fact that the yogurt is creamy and not watered down/​icey. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that since it is a big company they’re very exact on their amounts, I’m sure for nutritional reasons but it puts a damper in the froyo experience when you eat away at the top and end up finding the hollow center. Due to the fact that they swirl the froyo in a circle so the middle has nothing. Their fruit toppings are fairly fresh and it’s a bit pricey compared to other yogurt shops, but it is in the mall so it’s «mall pricing.»
My favorite combination is original with mochi and mango.

Red Mango has my favorite froyo, it tastes yoghurty and is tart, that’s the appeal. Others may like different flavors or textures, I happen to prefer Red Mango over Pink Berry, Shnoo and the other dozen or so froyo places I’ve tried. When it comes to their finicky attitude about product and weight — they weigh stuff and it takes time but they do this so they can have the right amount of calories per serving. Yeah, if you get a medium or large it’s going to be hollow in the center but they weigh stuff so you know you at least getting what you paid for…
Service here is okay, seems sort of hit and miss actually. Sometimes they are super friendly, other times just a person taking my money.

I dont get why everyone loves this place? it’s low calorie frozen yogurt… nothing special, but not bad.

It has better toppings and the line isn’t long. It has fresher fruit, and the chocolate syrup is… choclatey er! Ha ha I made myself laugh again :)

My bf and I would come here to share a fro-​yo together, especially after our last trip to San Diego, CA, where there’s a fro-​yo shop around every corner almost. So discovering this at Southcenter was a treat…
Until we realized by the 3^rd time going there, something was wrong. While eating it, a little slower than usual, we find there’s a hole in the middle of the yogurt, where more of it could be occupying. Huh… odd. Maybe it was just off that day. We didn’t bother going up to ask, so we just ate it and figured it wasn’t meant to be like that.
Next time, same thing. And we ordered with friends too! We totally felt jipped, especially considering the price of Red Mango when we compared with other fro-​yo places we’d had in San Diego. No sir, we don’t go here anymore. I’d rather go to the Tutti Fruitti one floor down, where you can fill it yourself, and spend less.

While a lot of the people that have written reviews have experienced somewhat unlucky moments with this specific Red Mango, I would have to say that out of the 20 times that I have been here, I have not had a single bad experience.
True there is a line every now and then but thats what happens at a mall food court. No surprise there. They didnt count my blackberries here like they did at the Bellevue Red Mango, so I was VERY pleased. Also, the topping choice of Red Mango tends to stump that of Cefiore. which I like since I need to have that Graham cracker fix with my Strawberries, Mangoes and Mochi. I like the opportunity to dress my desserts with all the tidbits I want and limiting my choices makes me scrunch my nose and think twice at ever returning to an establishment.
Price: 10 points
Location: 10 points. More in the open and the line isn’t hanging out the door like Bellevue.
Quality: 10 Points. Be nice, prompt and decisive about what you want and they will stack it. Nothing worse than a waiting for a decision when all you want is your yogurt. If you know what you want, they will certainly give. =)

So. I absa-​frikin-​lutely love it! Five stars all the way and here’s why!
I don’t like the traditional run of the mill froyo.
I loved the fact that it was different, the tartness complimented the sweet toppings. It tasted like natural plain frozen yougurt.
If you like hydrogenated soybeans and high fructose corn syrup flavored yogurt this is not the place for you

Dude, what a freakin disappointment.
A Red Mango recently opened in Palo Alto (by the winner of Survivor, Yul Kwon… OH…it’s gotta be good, right??). Luckily for me, I came across this one while in Seattle this past weekend on vacation. GLAD I didn’t make the 30 mi drive to Palo Alto.
WTF why is it so bitter? Why is it so milky/​creamy? I like my froyo light and tarty, fresh and smooth. Eww, this was really a disappointment. If you’re ever in SF, I recommend going to YoCup… my appreciation for this place grows everytime I try these chain/​overrated places like Red Mango. The service was weird… there’s so many people behind the counter and only one person cashier’s and services? The other people try to look busy and not notice you. I had to raise my hand like I was in grade school to get some help… wtf?
I even tried going the next day in hopes that it might taste better/​different. You got a second chance, Red Mango, and you still failed. Tutti Fruitti downstairs is a little better … self-​serve … go there instead.
