We came here to celebrate my husbands Birthday. He was really looking forward to it at first. I immediately noticed the price hike, erver was sweet and prompt, but as soon as our food came, I felt place has gone down in quality quite a bit, especially for the price. $ 15.00 for a country fried steak? The plate was covered in mashed potatoes and frozen vegetable scraps. I ordered the fish and ships which I believe were $ 15.00 as well and I took a bite and it was dripping with batter. I totally lost my appetite. I will say they took it off my bill, no questions asked, probably because they were just as grossed out as I was. We did order an appetizer of clams and they were great! I wish we would have stuck to those instead. It seems as though this wont let me go back and edit some things, so I apologize for my typos.

Every time I have come here the staff is awesome but the food is not very good. The prices are too high for the quality of food served.

I was @ this place two days ago had the worst ribeye in ever. 70% was fat & burdened. I asked for a refund only on my steak mr manager said NO!!! Order something new or get dessert. I said nope!!! I gave a decent tip n told the server to tell her boss to go get a refund @ the place where he/she got customer training, its obvious this person didn’t learn how to treat a customer. No one should have to pay for food that you don’t like period.

I love The Cedars Café. We have never been disappointed. My husband has tried a variety of their selections, he likes some better than others, but still has enjoyed everything he has tried. I have a tendency to be very picky so am limited to a few favorites. I have to agree with an earlier guest regarding the vegetables. This is something I’ve been noticing around the great northwest. There is a lacking of vegetables. No variety or missing at all. There is so much benefit for serving fresh vegetables. Farm to table would be awesome, a lot to ask for but not impossible. I wish there were healthier dining options around where good healthy food was being served. Also a limited option here. In the meantime, We will returning to this café for the wonderful service, good food and pleasant environment.

After a long night of winning(or donating to the Tulalip Native American Nation) I get really hungry! The choices are really plentiful during the day but what do you do when it’s 3am? Well the deli is pretty good and I really enjoy the angus burger(another review for another time) but when you are really hungry the Cedars restaurant is the best! The restaurant is very wide open with high ceilings and as a non smoker I appreciate the good ventilation system. I can taste the food not the Marlboro haze. The seats are plentiful and pretty comfortable and usually it’s not much of a wait. It’s well lit and has some pretty colored lights so I enjoyed the atmosphere. The food is pretty tasty. The menu changes a little from 11pm on until sometime in the morning. It’s got all the your favorites most of the time and it’s always open!

My wife and I just returned from Cedars Café. I have had a hankering for a nice prime rib, and some research noted Cedars as being a strong contender in the north County for this. I had an excellent 16 oz. medium rare prime rib with all the trimmings for $ 28 and my wife had the clam linguini for $ 17. We were both very pleased with how good the food was at Cedars. We had previously eaten at Tulalip Bay and Blackfish, and we will now also recommend Cedars as well. We thought the food quality was excellent and the prices reasonable for what you get.

The Cedars Café is very consistent .I like the Idea they have desserts freshly made for diabetics. Prime Rib, Ham and Clam Chowder are our favorites. We go there 3 – 4 times a year. Have dinner play slots. The waiters and the chefs are courteous. Definitely a comfortable setting .I encourage the Cedars Café to others.

First of all I’d like to say that majority of the wait staff are super helpful and attentive. Those I’d give five stars to! I’ve encountered a few who forgot things or didn’t check in to see if we needed anything in a timely manner, those were more like two stars. But, if you happen to get one of the helpful ones then you are lucky and should gamble after your meal! The food here itself is four stars. I’ve had the Mom’ Pot Roast, Seafood Chowder, Mediterranean Chicken Pasta, and the Pacific Northwest Eggs Benedict to name a few. Here is why they are missing a star… For starters, the mashed potatoes are too rich. I mean, save the potato taste please! All I could taste was the richness and creaminess of the butter and milk they used to whip it up to make it smooth. So, cut back on that and you’ve got your self a worthy mashed potato! However, what really, really, really disappoints me(as I know they can do better), is this so called«seasonal vegetable medley». They can totally do without it. Use fresh veggies instead! First of all it reminds me of the stir fry frozen veggies that had too much frost on it so when you cooked it, the texture is no longer there, just mushy veggies. Who wants that? Not me! It would be best to utilize the«medley» as a base for a soup rather than a side dish. As a side dish, it’s like they were wanting color more than something worth eating with the meal it came with. What really set me off(not only have I had this medley with the pot roast and other entrees) was the thanksgiving dinner special they were offering. Everything sounded good! I got the butternut squash soup which was TODIEFOR! My mom, who hates anything remotely healthy, had large spoonfuls of it! That’s saying its that good. I got my mom the Caesar salad, and aside from being a tad overdressed, there were croutons that were stale. Oh well, I ate them anyway since she cannot eat anything hard and I am opposed to food waste. Then out came our thanksgiving meal! Here we have mashed potatoes, a small scoop of stuffing, a side of cranberry sauce/dressing? It was kinda watered down, it did have some whole cranberries in it. Would have been better off making a cranberry slaw or a reduction… It was tart, just the way I like it, but the consistency could have been better. The turkey itself was a nice helping of white meat(my favorite), however looking under all that white meat, there were bits of dark meat, this happened to both my mom and I. I would suggest asking your guest which they would prefer, white or dark meat. Anyway, the gravy was poured over everything, which wasn’t a bad thing, but wish it came on the side for me to pour just the way I’d like it. Then, there was this blob in the corner… WTF??? What kind of veggies are those? Baby purée? Omg, it was disgusting. It consisted of shredded carrots, red bell pepper, onions, broccoli, snow peas and yellow zucchini. It looks like the damn stir fry mix you get from the frozen veggie aisle… I mean, come on guys… roasted brussle sprouts, steamed green beans, lightly buttered with roasted garlic, I mean even green bean casserole!!! Please do not serve that medley with a thanksgiving dinner again or with any meal while you’re at it. It was hard to choke down… I was so disappointed. Just stop altogether, it’s gross! Use fresh veggies please, you are a restaurant in a 4 diamond hotel… Act like it. Even at brunch the next day, I made sure to avoid the entrees that had«vegetable medley» as a side. It was just so gross… Lacking in flavor, texture was slimy and just unimpressive. Please I beg of you, use it to make soup, or heck, purée it and make it into a marinara sauce for pasta or veggie soup. But seriously, take it out of the dishes that have it as a side, because I’d rather have a salad(or if the meal came with a salad, give me another helping of salad or a soup) instead. My pumpkin pie desert though was the one that would make me come back. It was an individual pie tart, with a cinnamon whipped cream and candied pecans… Oh I could have gone for more on that! It was seperate from the thanksgiving meal of course, but I had to order it because thanksgiving dinner isn’t complete without the pumpkin pie desert. Wish they offered that all year round. The crust was light, little to no crumbling, the pumpkin filling was smooth and slightly sweet, just the way I like it as the candied pecans added that extra sweetness. The whipped cream really complimented the pie nicely. Other than my hatred for their«medley» I would come back and eat the other offerings as they are really good, just ease up on the dairy in the mashed taters please.

It’s the only place in the Tulalip Hotel/Casino that is not smoke filled. The other restaurants require that you walk through the smoke filled casino. When there’s the brunch menu, you can’t order dinner. The brunch menu is fine. The prime rib sandwich is very large and tasty. not tough. The service is fairly good. Beware of the kid’s menu becuase, unlike the adult menu which has large portions, the kids menu hamburger is tiny, not much bigger than an Ike dollar coin.

Used to go here all the time and got great service. They had amazing Phở, I recently went there for lunch and the waitress complained about Phở when I asked for it and was super rude! She also was really rude about my toddler being with us. It’s attached to a hotel and not a bar! My toddler wasn’t throwing a fit or being loud, but the waitress was really rude. I sure won’t be returning aside from the fact we went for phở. Based off that service I’m surprised they’re in business still. The food has also gone down hill.

Rib eye steak is the best! They know how to cook it to order. Great baked potato and sides. Staff has been great. Went 3 times in October. Will Be back again and again! Priced well!

We’ve been there so many times for breakfast and dinner. It’s like a 24 hr. «Denney’s». But cleaner and better quality. I love their French dip. I can only eat half and take half home. Great value. I also love their omelet. The clams are great too. They even have phở… though not quite the real Vietnamese style, but it will do in a pinch. Prime ribs are great too. It is not a fine dinning, but for a «café» I recommend this place. Convenience hours. Variety of choices. Reasonable prices. 10%discount for 50+ or casino player club card. They dont take reservations. But do offer pagers. Waiting area is next to the quiet piano lounge. And you don’t have to walk through the smokey casino to get there if you park in the hotel area. For the area this is not a bad place for breakfast/brunch. Even More convenience if you play in the casino… or staying at the hotel.

This place never fails me. Service is amazing all the time. The food is fresh and everything I have ordered from here tastes soooo gooooood! I’d give them FIVE stars IF they did these two things: 1. Take reservations for large groups 2. Not have to remind them to give me bread during their dinner hours — because their bread is bomb!

The crab salad dish is a really big portion dish that two persons can share, that I would expect because of the price $ 16.75. The crab meat is only a tiny portion, you can add another 3 ounces for $ 8 more which I don’t think it’s worth it. Over all, great service, quality salad and nice interior design.

great for breakfast after relaxing at the hotel. good service and my meal was a nice old fashion selection of oatmeal that was kicked up with a notch with bananas that was crusted with burnt sugar and fruit. I also had some toast, poached eggs and potatoes, YUM! of course I didn’t eat it all, I just wanted a bite of this and that. endless coffee available and I couldn’t be more happier that morning. casual ambience and don’t forget to give them your rewards card for a 10% discount on your bill.

One of the resto inside Tulalip resort and casino, we are a frequent diner here bec my auntie is a high roller(VIP)in tulalip and one of the benefits is free foods… we are here often so the great foods they serve now taste ordinary to us… décor is contemporary… western inspired… service is good, all of them friendly…, too bad my favorite waitress named Patricia just moved to oregon… big place, quite, good for family and group + kids… steak is the carrying dish and its good… tender and juicy… mu aunt called it «my juicy couture» parking is by the hotel and its huge… accept all cards and cash… try the place when you guys visited tulalup…

Lots of food and good prices! The servers are very engaged. The Cobb salad is great and the tulalip burger was delicious too. Great if you are not hungry enough for the buffet or don’t want to pay the high dinner prices. It’s open 24 hours.

Went to this to avoid the smoky interior of the casino. It has an eclectic mix of menu items from breakfast to dinner. I used some Unilocal reviews to order. I did not like the steak. It was thin and somewhat fatty. The breakfast was fine and the food was filling. The service was fine.

Gahhhhhhhh! I think they changed their menu the delicious fish and chips I loved so much has been replaced by heavy dry and bland fish and chips. Even the cole slaw was nasty. However … The seafood chowder was excellent. Rich and creamy and loaded with tons and tons of clams… Yummm. Oh and my god the free bread they give you in the beginning is delicious! The herb and plain rolls were the best… With a little slab of butter it was perfect! The burgers and sandwiches were the same, pretty decent. Service as always was great. Warm, friendly and prompt. Cedars is still definitely my late night drunken to go spot.
