The Lily Pad Cafe

It’s a fun place! Really adorable atmosphere and the coffee is good. The only thing is the service is not very good. I’ve been at the counter waiting for a while for someone to notice I’m there. That being said, it’s definitely a fun place with good coffee and I would recommend it. Just plan on setting aside some time because there might be a slightly longer wait than you’re expecting.

They’re crepes are great 5 stars
But the service is slow very slow. The girl taking your order is constantly going to the back to tell them how to do things.
I called and I was told to hold while she took orders, gave change and while giving the people making the crepes instructions. I was on hold for 5 min and it didn’t seem like she was going to take my order any time soon.
So if your in a hurry don’t come here.
They definitely need hire more people.

Coffee is delicious. Café de ola with cinnamon and fresh cream. Crêpe with crème and strawberries was yummy. Hubby ate the mole crêpe, very flavorful.

A unique experience, the Lily Pad Café is a true Gem in Tulare. The customer service is exceptional as was the mouthwatering selection of crepes and coffees offered. A must visit for anyone interested in enjoying delicious meal in a relaxed, family oriented environment.

My girlfriend and I ordered the strawberry shortcake crêpe which was phenomenal. Lily the Owner was very kind and recommend all sorts of goodies. Definitely coming back here again hands down

This place is so cute and quiet! I love the little play area they have for children. The people who work here are super friendly and very nice!

This place is in Tulare people… I don’t get how can you give this place a one star. The food was great for Tulare. If your going to compare it to Mechlin star restaurant than yes is a 2 but never a one star. I will definitely keep supporting this spot. Holy mole crape was really good!!. Their drinks are awesome.

I’ve been here about 3 times and food is always fresh tasting. Crisp salads and lots of food that isn’t processed. Good food that can’t be found otherwise in this area.

I ordered the Hot + Spicy crêpe with a Cucumber ginger lemonade and the crêpe was very good the Chipotle sauce was had just the right amount of kick and with the chicken and the crêpe it was just overall vertical good the lemonade may be one of the best lemonade I have had very fresh I also had a tiramisu crêpe for dessert and it was nice and sweet but not overly sweet overall the meal was great

I discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago while at the library for a work meeting, and have been pleasantly surprised at all their items. I absolutely loved the S’mores mocha and it’s by far one of the best I have had! The first time I tried it I felt it was a bit sweet for my taste (still delicious though!) so I politely asked if they could make it a little less sweet and the staff was happy to do that for me! I have tried the basic crêpe and also the strawberry & chocolate-​both very delicious. The café the olla is also very tasty, flavored with vanilla and cinnamon, and slightly sweeten — I like to order this coffee when I order the sweet crepes.
If you are wanting a refreshing drink the cucumber & ginger lemonade is amazing– refreshing and delicious! As for their other food items, the clam chowder is fresh, hot, and very yummy! This is also a kid friendly place and its refreshing to have a restaurant in Tulare that serves healthy kids meals. I appreciate that the kids meals are served with fresh seasonal fruit!
I would definitely recommend the Lily Pad Café, wether you’re out for a great breakfast, lunch, craving dessert, or just a great place to relax and enjoy good coffee!!! :) The atmospheres is very pleasant and you can either enjoy your food inside or in the outside patio. I can’t forget to mention that the customer service, friendliness, and just a genuine interest to please their customer is excellent here!

The place is located next to the library. Was in town to run errands and decided to stop by and try the crepes. I ordered the banana and strawberry. Presentation was great but was disappointed. The crêpe was rubbery two thick. The drinks on the other hand are great.

This is probably the worst crêpe I have ever tasted! Mole Crêpe where’s the mole! Paper plates posh I don’t think so! Water served in a 4oz plastic Dixie cup too funny! Expensive as a trip to France lol. The star above doesn’t deserve a star at all. My daughters breakfast crêpe which was suppose to have ham and bacon didn’t have those ingredients. She asked the cashier what happened to those ingredients lady said sorry bacon wasn’t cooked yet. she said she would have the manager come out and talk to her. Manager replied she was aware they had run out of both ingredients, she didn’t tell us but said she could have 50% off the next crêpe.

The best! Love the variety of their menu. The beverages and food were really delicious. Love the atmosphere and vibe. Reasonable price.

Went there yesterday for a large hot Americano, add sugar that was in the little cute mason jar (not label). Coffee was soo good.
Went there again today and order 2 large hot Americano because it was so good I had to bring my brother and daughter. Use the same little cute mason jar (not label) to sweeten up their coffee. Got in the car started driving… guess what!!! It’s salt!!! Coffee became ocean coffee. So, called to let them know and to see if we can get the drinks replace. Manager said no free coffee just discount. Wow, really! Can’t please your customer. Maybe next time write salt on the jar. or make up your mind if you want it for salt or sugar. I’ll stick to my starbucks for now. Thought I would become a regular at this new café. But not anymore. I thought it could’ve been handle better if they’re still new trying to attract new customers.

I was never really big on Crêpes… Ever…
But I heard about this place and their special Crêpes menu and thought it’d be interesting to check them out. When you walk in, there’s a huge chalkboard filled with their menu items and what each Crêpe contains.
There are Savory Crêpes (chicken, salty, spicy) and Sweet Crêpes (syrup, whip crème, dessert).
I’ve tried both sides! Sweet and savory and so far they’re both delicious! They’re soft and full of flavor, filled with delicious goodness.
The staff is friendly and informative with the menu. Thank you again Jesse for being patient and answering all of our questions. The owner Lily is also sweet and helpful!
I need to try the rest! That’ll be my goal for the rest of the year (: What I’ve tried so far:

Very unique to Tulare and everything is great! Nice friendly people, great service, and definitely worth a try.

Very very delicious crepes ! I ordered the Lush crêpe, which consists of chicken, onions, cheese and Alfredo sauce. Had a regular iced tea, which was almost like a tropical iced tea.
Will definitely be back to try other menu items!
