I can’t wait until a birthday comes around so that i can order the white chocolate cake! The cake display is so amazing. My fiancé has a huge sweet tooth and we venture here to get all sorts of amazing sweets!

Never had a bad experience thus far. First time reading some of these reviews and I must say I am a little nervous about picking up my Dad’s birthday cake on Saturday. So much negativity on here. I will review after Birthday to advise how cake was. Got a Breakfast sandwich there a couple of months ago. It was delicious! Can’t wait to taste the cake I ordered.

Well I guess my New York attitude is going to show here because I could not be more disappointed in the quality of the cherry turnover I had and the apple strudel my wife had. My turnover barely had any filling and the crust was bland. Same with the strudel. I will not pay those prices again

Had to give a one star because the red head named Samantha serving me was rude and forgot my chocolate cake. I didn’t notice until I got home so I called to notify them. Her response when I said I didn’t get my chocolate cake was «o, Kay…» Following an awkward silence. Tried 6 different items, the only one I liked was the tiaramisu cupcake. The Bavarian crème cake itself wasn’t bad. Wish we has a LA baguette in Tulsa.

Stopped by a few weeks ago to try their Bavarian cream cake. Needless to say, it was delicious. I still am partial to nothing bundt cake, but if you like variety I recommend you give this place a try.

To die for desserts that look beautiful, too! I’ve had cupcakes from Ludger’s and they are sinful… I’ve never had their match before or since. Great spot for birthday/​special occasion treats.

Friendly staff, small but comfortable atmosphere, great treats and fair coffee! Great place to talk with friends and hang out.

My husband and I went Ludgers this afternoon to pick up some treats to go. We got a chocolate dipped slice of their Bavarian cream cheese cake, a tiramisu cupcake, and a brownie that was described as «life changing» on the little card. We had never been to Ludgers before and we both have quite the sweet tooth so we were excited.
Everything tasted like it had been made several days ago and had been refrigerated and then set out in the display case on a cycle. Nothing tasted fresh at all, and even if they had been fresh the overall quality was lacking.
Maybe their main business is made to order special occasion cakes, and maybe those are phenomenal, but we were definitely disappointed in our purchases and will not be returning.

Starting my reviews today because Ludger’s gave me such an incredible experience. They are very professional and affordable. I called and emailed the sample of cake I wanted in the morning and they were able to bake it up within hours! Just like magician, they are absolutely incredible. I ordered a small chocolate birthday cake to serve about 8 – 10 people and I was surprised at the final price. The custom cake only cost me $ 25 (which is a steal considering how great everything turned out). The detailed cake looked lovely and it tasted like heaven. Thanks again Ludger’s crew!

This place is awesome, and the service is great. Cozy place to hang out with your laptop and work, indoor or out. I’ve personally see the owner handle a difficult and demanding customer with kindness and professionalism (even though the customer was blowing up over something minor). The owner offered to remake the cake and hand deliver it to the party. I would give my business to Ludgers o we Starbucks any day.

Bavarian cream cheesecake with raspberry sauce is a must try here! Probably the best cake I’ve ever had, and I love cake

Great chai, great quiche, great cupcakes and amazing cake!!! Everything i have ever tasted is delicious. They even will deliver curbside.

I stopped into Ludgers to pick up a cake last minute. I was surprised to find that they had a good selection of non-​cake items, including some turnovers and cupcakes. The drop-​in cake set-​up was not what I expected– they basically have 3 or 4 different sizes of the same classic bavarian cream cake sold in either chocolate or vanilla. So this isn’t like Whole Foods where you go in and there’s a bunch of different cakes to choose from to grab and go. I am sure the options are more extensive if you order in advance.
I went with the chocolate. The decoration on it was simple but tasteful. The cake did come frozen, so it had obviously been made in advance, but you couldn’t tell at all. I just stuck it in the fridge for a couple of hours before we ate it.
I thought it was delicious! The chocolate bavarian cream was like a silky mousse, and the thin layers of cake had a perfect texture. Overall it was not too sweet and not too chocolate-​y. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that my guests were not as into the cake as I was. My husband thought the cream was much too rich and felt like you were eating softened butter. This amazed me because I really thought this was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. I guess you can’t please everyone!
I wish Ludger’s were open on Sunday because I am having a hard time finding places for coffee and pastry on Sunday mornings. They could also do a good business by staying open late on weekends as an after-​dinner dessert location.

I ordered a birthday cake from Ludger’s a few years ago back when they were located near 31^st and Sheridan upon a recommendation from a friend that ordered her wedding cake from them.
THE BEST cake I have ever had. EVER. I’m not sure about now, but back then they dealt in wedding cakes pretty much exclusively, so when I asked about a birthday cake, they were very helpful and accommodating and advised me to go with a modified groom’s cake. It worked out perfectly. That Bavarian cream that they make the cake with is unbelievable. There’s nothing else like it.
I haven’t been to this new location yet, but it looks like they’ve expanded quite a bit and offer a LOT more baked goods than they used to, which is awesome. I HIGHLY recommend this bakery.

Allison went out of her way to fulfill my last minute cake order to surprise my husband for his birthday. I was out of town so didn’t get to try the Bavarian Cream Cheesecake or Chocolate Chip Cookies, but my husband and his co-​workers said they were delicious! Their customer service has earned them a new loyal customer!

Ludger’s cakes are as good as it gets! I work with a wedding planner, and have had the opportunity to taste MANY wedding cakes. Ludger’s is by far the best I have had.
I was working at one wedding and the cake stand that they were using was from Ludger’s but the cake itself was not. I was excited because I thought that the cake was from Ludger’s, but once I tasted it, I thought to myself «this isn’t good enough to be from there!». Turns out it was indeed from a different bakery.
I am looking forward to using Ludger’s for my wedding, and I will happily recommend them for all of your bakery needs!

Ludgers specifically Allison, the owner that says «I’m not arguing with you and will no longer discuss this matter» even when you ask the simplest questions.
I take full responsibility for changing the icing design on my daughters wedding cake for one layer a few days before the wedding.
The complete screw up of the color of the icing was bizarre. It was even more bizarre that the owner started crying when asked what happened, a tactic just to get off the phone because she couldn’t come up with a good answer as to why the mistake happened. The icing color was planned for 6 months or more. The colors were supposed to be white on off white icing. I went to the business and looked at displays and picked from the displays. They sent pearl white on white for icing on the wedding cake. They called the bride the day of the wedding on the day of the wedding to tell her they couldn’t find the address. We were told that we weren’t charged for the Sunday delivery as a courtesy but we were, it’s on the receipt. When Allison was asked about that she still had no answer.
The colors being wrong were a serious mistake and all my daughter got was a 50 $ gift certificate to spend at ludgers … Why would we continue to go back?
Never in my life have I seen such a screwed up bunch of staff starting with Allison. I was rushed off the phone after she hounded my daughter for me to call her even though she had been given my number and told to call me. This wedding cake was an epic fail. Go to SAMs go to any other bakery because what ludgers does is nothing special. Their customer service is extraordinarily awful and the customer is left with no recourse when it all goes wrong. The old ludgers is gone forever, the cakery was sold to Allison. Ludgers now stands as an embarrassment and we will never give a referral for them.
Again I take full responsibility for the last minute change (3 days before wedding) in piping to one layer of the wedding cake. After months of planning, calls and meetings my only daughters wedding cake was ruined and no one at the company gave a crap nor did they apologize.

Talk about a drool-​worthy place!
I popped in Ludger’s today before a meeting to grab a couple to-​go coffees and hated that I couldn’t stay and enjoy my coffee and a sweet treat in the plush red huge couches underneath a beautiful and modern chandelier.
There are several coffee options here — from macchiatos to lattes to every flavor of syrup you could ever think of. I had a cinnamon latte and it hit my caffeine spot well. The espresso wasn’t that strong but the overall flavor has a smooth finish.
Breathtaking photos and displays of cakes are everywhere. Between Ludger’s top notch cleanliness, professional display and friendly staff I will visit them first when I am in the market for a special occasion cake.
