Paradise Donuts

I had an unexpected day off today, so my Girlfriend and I wanted to get donuts. Since moving to Tulsa, we have tried a couple of other donut shops, but have been somewhat disappointed. Most of the places we have tried either had donuts that were too plain or far too sweet.
Paradise Donuts were actually about as close as we could ask for to the donut shop we loved going to before moving here. The donuts were fresh and well made. I had a Chocolate Sprinkled Donut and my Girlfriend had a Glazed Donut. We also both ordered a Sausage Roll since that is one of their specialities. My donut was a nice blend of a more bitter chocolate donut with sweet chocolate icing and sprinkles. My Girlfriend’s donut was large and yeasty. Like mine, the donut itself was not overly sweet (almost had a sourdough taste) with sweet glaze. As good as the donuts were, the Sausage Rolls were the best thing we had. They were still hot even after getting them home.
The woman working was extremely friendly and quick with our order. As far as donut shops go, this is the best one we have tried in Tulsa so far.

Nice little donut shop with a friendly one person staff. They offer an assorted selection of donuts, sausage rolls, pastries along with coffee, juice and hot chocolate. I have to say that their sausage roll is tasty. The place only has a few tables but I am guessing that the place is more of a pickup and leave than a sit down place. However, my daughter and I are enjoying some donuts while she is watching their nice sized tv. Stop by!
