Established in 2012.

With over 10 years of experience, master designer, Brian Schellhorn and his team had a dream of combining personal style with natural design to bring their clients hair that compliments natural beauty and is easy to wear and maintain: Hence the name, ‘Raw Elements’ Salon.

Influenced by a passion for Tulsa and the tradition of mid-​town, Brian chose Cherry Street (15th) as the perfect home for RE.

Just had my first cut with Shelby and was thoroughly impressed with everything about Raw Elements. Booking was a breeze, the people were friendly but not overbearing, and the music was awesome (from Bob Marley to Gnarls Barkley), and my haircut was exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend them as I honestly can’t picture a better haircut experience.

I go to Bayleigh and my hair has never looked so good! Incredibly reasonable pricing! I have extensions now and love them! Bayleigh is really professional, easy to talk to, and she really listens to what you want and follows through with it.

This is where my hair lost its virginity and I have no regrets. I had been wanting to do something completely different with my hair but didn’t want to use products with harsh chemicals.
Raw Elements uses two brands that have quality natural products, Aveda being one of them. Shelby was who I made the appointment with and she was awesome. I first went only for a haircut and then I went back for the coloring. She had recommended a brown/​caramel balayage since I didn’t want something super drastic and she said it would look smooth and natural.
I had searched for pictures on Pinterest of the ones I liked and showed it to her before she started working on my hair. The end product was awesome! Check out the pic I posted. I am super happy with my hair and absolutely love it. Will definitely come back.

OK. Perhaps I just had a bad day at the place — given the response I got from the owner, I would say that they do know a thing or two about customer service. Still not 100% sure I’m going to make it back, but at least not completely miffed at them.

Love the hospitality this place shows! A great place to buy Bumble and Bumble Products as well as Aveda. Hubby and I both love our stylist! Kelly is great. She always makes my difficult thick curly hair look great. Delaney makes the hubs look sharp! Overall a great place. We won’t be going anywhere else in Tulsa.

WOW! PERFECTION! Amazing service from the moment I called to book. Beautiful Salon. Quality Products. Reasonable Prices. First time appointment with Senior Designer Kelly. Kelly cut my hair perfectly. I am thrilled! I have found my new Salon and Stylist. I would recommend to anyone. A pleasing experience. Even though I had arrived early, I was checked on and offered something to drink by the arrival desk and in the waiting area. Kelly was focused and willing to listen. Fun to talk with. Fantastic find! I moved to Tulsa two years ago and have had 5 different stylists highlight my hair. I was never happy with how they did it or if I was happy, it was $ 200 without tip! I was referred to this salon recently and I’m so glad I tried it. Kelly did an amazing job on my hair. It’s exactly what I wanted and it was really well priced! I’m so glad I finally found a place that knows how to work with blonds and doesn’t charge too much. Definitely recommend!

A classy concept salon with a great vision for bringing out the natural beauty of its clients. Reasonable pricing. Stylist Francie C. is a true hair artist. She is skilled at creating the perfect cut and color — I get compliments on the depth and beauty of my color all the time. Francie is friendly, caring, and really listens to what I want. The product makers educate the salons that use their products so you get your moneys worth and a great look. Brian is really good and he listens to what you want.
