I stayed here while traveling back from NW Arkansas, and thought that the motel was so-so. Tulsa Inn & Suites has undergone renovations in some areas, and both the changes and areas that haven’t been changed are quite noticeable. I was fortunate to have one of the 2nd floor corner rooms that were newly renovated. No noticeable elevator, so you’ll have to walk to the staircase outdoors to go up that one flight of steps with your bags. While the bed was noticeably new(quite firm, yet okay), some of the other furniture pieces looked a bit dated. Yet that was the least of my concern. The door bolt area plus lock for the door looked a bit compromised. Although the door was able to lock, it looked as if it could be broken easily if given a swift kick. Fortunately, there weren’t any issues on the night that I stayed, despite the parking lot area looking a bit rough with questionable people walking through it. The WiFi was so-so with its speed and reliability. The venue does offer breakfast, yet it is of the limited continental type: coffee and honey buns, dry cereal if you are lucky. Fortunately, the venue is located next to I-44, along with many other hotel/motel choices + other fast food and restaurant venues to choose from. Rate is about $ 45 + tax, which is comparable to any Motel 6 or Budget Inn. There is a small outdoor pool on the premises as well. All and all, I would probably give this place a 2.5. You really do get what you pay for in terms of it being a place to stay for a night while traveling, particularly as someone that didn’t have a reservation anywhere else. No real issues with cleanliness, yet I did have a newly renovated room. The place isn’t a dump, yet its not the Four Seasons-Lite either.
