The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is unbelievably nice and helpful. They are ready to go above and beyond. If I’m ever passing through this area again I would stay here in a min. The breakfast is also great, a lot of variety.

Holiday Inn does not honor its loyalty program frequent traveler points unless you book through their company owned site. Clearly they do not want your business unless you pay full boat inflated rates. This is a customer unfriendly management decision. Go somewhere else that actually wants your business. Unfortunately I spend four nights at this property before I discovered they didn’t want me there. Now I don’t want any part of them.

I’ve got to tell you this is a great place to stay while in Tupelo and I will definitely stay in it again. If you want to experience Southern hospitality, you want to go here. The desk clerk made us at home immediately. She«Googled» some maps for me and helped me get organized for the next day. She also informed me that there was no ice maker on our floor and told me where it was, but she also said to me «if you need ice, bring your ice bucket down here to me, and I will take care of it.» These people are second to none in insuring that you have a pleasant stay. The dining/bar area is superb. If you are expecting motel/hotel food here, you won’t be getting it. Their dinner menu is as fine as any upscale restaurant you will eat at and the prices are not upscale. My kudos to the chef our food was superb, but kudos to the wait staff as well. The host was so gracious, and interested in our stay that by the time I left I had made a friend. He, like me, is a lover and cook of barbecue and he invited me to go to the back parking lot to see his barbecue smoker… which I did. Same with the waitress. She was unparalleled in her helpfulness and interest in us and our satisfaction. She and my wife«hit it off» from the beginning. We talked to the host and the waitress multiple times when they weren’t busy and left with two new friends. With outstanding service and very fine food we had the best of experiences. Now to our room. It was clean and attractively appointed. Everything we needed was available. Staying at this Holiday Inn was the highlight of our visit. This is the place to stay in Tupelo, Mississippi.

This hotel had everything you’d expect from a holiday inn express. The room was very clean and had several amenities. The TV had several channels and included a guide button. You’d be surprised how accustomed you are to having the guide option until you don’t have it. They also have an evening reception where you can have a little snack and chat with other guests before dinner. There’s several great restaurants within walking distance
