Half a star not possible. Don’t bother getting warranty work at best rv they are inept. Enough said. I’m reporting them to everyone save your time and breath dealing with this place… stay away from warranty work from them. ONCE AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE FOR WARRANTY WORK!

If you are only going for a good price this is the place but forget any warranty work! Dealing with the service manager is a nightmare. I had three problems with my new trailer one was a very badly leaking window that they first told me it was a customer responsibility to check every 6 months and led me to believe it was my problem! The catch was I only had the trailer for 4 months when I called them. I contacted the manufacture directly and they redirected me back to Best RV and their fix was a sloppy dump of Sealant on it that is visible to the owner and public all the time. My other problem was at the end of my one year warranty and I been fighting problems with a broken microwave and when I got to the dealer they took pictures of it broken and said they would summit it for warranty and then they promptly LOST their records of me and my broken microwave and now will NOT return any of my emails or calls to the service manager for any status and it been 6 months. So Go at your own RISK.

They came through and replaced the stereo/​dvd system and also the ladder. Although I am not a fan of their methods, they did follow through with what they promised.

We bought a pop up trailer here last week and so far so, so good. Reading the Unilocal reviews left by others, I am really hoping it doesn’t eventually come back to bite is in the behind buying from here…
Dan, the salesman who showed us around was excellent. We went in there knowing specifically what we wanted and he took us around to each and every pop up that met our specifications. He was friendly, not pushy whatsoever, honest and patient throughout showing us around. He was knowledgeable about the products as well.
We found the one we wanted and he got us in the office and ready to crunch numbers, no problem. Nile’s (the owner? Finance person? Not sure) was friendly enough. He worked fast and in the first offer actually offered us exactly what we wanted. We were able to go zero down, with a good interest rate, and were under our monthly payment amount maximum. We accepted that offer immediately, because it was actually everything we went in there knowing we wanted, but we do wish we had negotiated having an A/​C installed. Oh well, our fault for not speaking up. The transaction was great.
We did end up needing some things added to our 4Runner to be able to tow the trailer properly and they installed these things on site. We also purchased some extras in the accessories area, the associate there could have been friendlier, but we’ll let it slide since our experience was overall so pleasant. We are glad we got Dan as our salesperson, many of the other men on the sales floor seemed like jerks or at least gave off that vibe, so we really were happy to have Dan.
I think we started the whole purchase process around 2 or 3, so it was close to the end of their day.
When it came to the walk through, we were really looking forward to someone taking us through and explaining how things work. The first service guy who was out there with us was somewhat able to slow down and show us stuff and he was very nice, the second guy who came out (the first guy called him «Gordo») we did not like that guy. You could tell he was pissed to be dealing with a customer so late… We could tell we were a bother to him and he rushed us through the rest of our walk through. Bummer because we have no idea how to use some parts of our trailer now.
This was a very smooth transaction and we love our new trailer. We really hope that if we do run into issues down the line, future transactions will be just as smooth. Thank you Best RV!

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience with Best RV.
When I first contacted Best RV in hopes to trade a trailer I was given full attention and right away was told they’d payoff my trailer & gave me a monthly payment amount for the new (which I hardly provided enough information for them to go off of). I inquired about what the terms of this would be.
From that point on I was told on a daily basis they’d let me know within a few hours the details of the purchase, and on a daily basis was given no information at all, just apologies for their business. By the end of the 2^nd day they requested I fill out an application providing personal information so they could provide details of purchase. No problem, did that. Again, I was told they were processing our info, every thing looks great, etc. and after 2 more days I was told they can’t do anything without pictures of our current trailer (because we’re out of town). No problem, spend an entire morning taking well over 50 requested pictures.
Still, no lead on purchase details, even after calling the sales manager and finance manager (because the sales manager was out of the office every time something needed to proceed).
By the time the week had passed and pictures sat with them for 2 more days, I was told, via email, they could not make a deal unless we brought our trailer in to be viewed. After an entire week of them doing basically nothing nor even providing information on terms, sale price, fees etc. an 11 hour drive and more wasted just doesn’t make sense.
I’m pretty sure there’s no truth in their sales price without several, additional fees & we were told we’d have to pay a delivery fee; so much for no hidden fees or desination fees… I’m guessing this is why they wouldn’t put together an out the door price for us. ****don’t just go off the payments & sales price, make sue you know what you’re actually paying!
Also, the trailer I was initially inquiring about (on their website) was no longer available, but I was proceeding with a newer (more expensive of course) option. I was told by the sales representative that they leave those on their site for people to contact them… wow, really?

Called last week about a trailer they had online. I spoke with Chris and was very nice on the phone. He said he would confirm that he had the trailer and call me back shortly to let me know the sales price. two days later never a return call back. So I call and leave a message figuring he was busy and forgot, no big deal. left a message fir him and zero call back in the last two days.
so I can only say from a communication standpoint a big zero.

How do they stay in business is beyond me! Like others I would go in the negative numbers if it was an option !!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
We went to look at a Toy Hauler, now the sales man was very nice & made it seem as if what we were asking is no issue. We wanted to buy a new 34′ Attitude, with zero down &a trade in our 2014 Travel Trailer.
We went inside and as soon as the guy from financing came in (Nile) & he was rude &a insulting from the start. Telling us they are number one in the Nation & their prices couldn’t be beat. My husband said Toy Hauler Liquidators in Rockland had the same one for $ 4,000 cheaper, he wanted to see what Best RV could do since it was closer, but we don’t mind driving to THL if they can’t come closer to their price. So he looked into credit and started asking questions about things that were 7 years ago and about a Credit Union I Used as a teen (no bad scores just I had a cpl loans thru them). No one else went back to that far and it had nothing to do with my current score or a loan he was trying to get us cuz we never got that far. He refused to even discuss price repeating he was Best in the Nation, blah blah blah, then told us he would give us $ 6000 for our 2014 26ft hardly used Travel Trailer with transferable 6 year warranty & protectant inside & out we had done. When my husband said no way he told us to go ahead & go elsewhere. We got up & left. He never tried to negotiate, explain why he thought he was correct or even shake our hand & anything. I don’t know how they are in business with such an arrogant jerk that clearly feels he’s better than us. I wouldn’t recommend them to someone I didn’t like! Toy Hauler Liquidators has our business & the no pressure you contact me when your ready & let’s work it out attitude was how they should be when they want you to spend almost 40K on a trailer!

Don’t trade your trailer in here!!! My family has bought «3» trailers here, and very loyal customers… however we looked into trading our trailer in for another one, and he told us he can’t do better as he wouldn’t make a profit on what price he gave us… couple days later we see it online for sale…”$ 6,000.00″ more than what he had said. So very disappointed. My family lost out and we should’ve walked out! Too bad we can’t return it or we would! Won’t be back to give him more business.

Same here, I should have read their Unilocal first before. My fiancé and myself drove all the way from San Francisco to check this awesome place. We saw a fifth wheel on their manager’s special and want to see what els they have. Our budget is below $ 20,000 in cash. And hopefully we could find the perfect fifth wheel.
Unfortunately before we could ask for more advice from the rude unprofessional manager who is maybe around my height, 5 feet tall? Because I’m 5 feel. Not only he was disgustedly rude toward us. He was also rude to his employees. Definitely, Not a good for business to work with. It’s good for us to be aware of this. So we can recommend to our friends from the city and international NOT to go here at all.

Most people on here are hating on this place. I myself completely disagree. They treated me great! I just purchase a 2015 Keystone Alpine on Saturday the 26^th. I wanted them to put on the lp onan 5500, an inverter and a solar panel. They told me it would be ready for pick up on Monday at 4pm. I called on Sunday at about 4pm just to check in. They had told me it was ready for pick up. I was amazed. When I had arrived they were great. Weekdays are definitely very busy though. They pulled my fifth wheel out and their tech guy Danny I believe his name was went over the entire trailer. Even taught me how to turn the TV on lol. I noticed the counter was loose and he fixed it right away. I would highly recommend this place. A++ service to Ammar my salesman, Nile the owner, and Danny the tech. These three are great.

If I could give zero stars or –0 stars I’d throw them all the way back into the –5. I’ve never dealt with somebody as rude and condescending as the sales manager, of all people by the way. After reading some of the reviews I wish I would’ve done my homework here before I wasted my time. Unprofessional, argumentative and for something that supposed to be a pleasurable buying experience I was stressed out before I even put a pen to paper! Glad I had the opportunity to hang up on him and at least feel like I got something out of it. I actually called back to talk to the owner and was told I could not even get his name to discuss the experience that I just had with his staff.
Note: I just got off the phone with a salesman named Caleb who called me back to pull me off the edge of the cliff. He actually was pleasurable and shared with me some facts about the unit I happen to be inquiring about and seemed reasonable with the price. If I end up going with this unit I will look at the experience during the purchasing and may change my review. At this point very disappointed with their leadership and management team, but glad the younger salesman had the common sense to try to salvage the deal. Thank you Caleb

Absolutely the worst experience with (Niles) a finance manager ever. His unwillingness to negotiate what HE had listed as a internet special for the same trailer (although not the same stock number) lost Ammar the sale. His arrogant, disrespectful, manner was shocking and irrelevant. We were going to pay cash for the trailer with exception of putting a few thousand on AMEX to which he complained about the cost of AMEX and that’s why no one takes it. RUDE! Went on to say oh yeah everyone wants to use it for miles, Costco, etc. Not sure how this man is beneficial to Best RV. We drove 2 hours to visit this business and find the perfect trailer for us… Will never encourage anyone to do so in the future.

I’m only giving two stars because of the price and because of Zee the owner trying to make it right. I just wished I had read the reviews before we made our purchase otherwise I would have never done business with this place. We bought a 2016 Forest River Wildwood and picked it up the following weekend. We had a few things to finish up on our truck before towing it home. After we signed the papers and they gave us our packet of information and we were getting ready to drive away I realized the stock and vin number on my packet was not the same as the one we thought we had bought. We compared the numbers on our contract against the numbers of the trailer and they were in fact different. When we asked salesman Kevin what was going on and why these numbers did not match he said «we have a stock of these trailers up on the lot, they’re all the same». I told him I just spent $ 17,000 cash, I want to see what I bought! He took me for a drive on the golf cart to see my trailer which in fact was not the same, it wasn’t solar ready like the one we thought we bought and some of the window stickers were lifting and who knows what other options it didn’t have. This did not go over very well with me. I felt like I was tricked and lied too! We went back down to the office, I confronted Niles the little scrawny snake, He promised me it had solar that all the Wildwood trailers came with it, I said «show me»! So Kevin took me back up to the trailer they sold me on paper, it was NOT solar ready (wired)! I told him I wanted all my paperwork changed to reflect the Vin number and inventory number of the trailer I thought I just bought, they did. I asked Kevin for the sink covers at the beginning of the sale, he said he would work that out for me but after what he called a «mix up» he can no longer get them for me… Gee why not Kevin? Is it because I was smart enough to catch you were trying to play bait and switch and sell me a trailer with less options? The trailer I thought I was buying was also missing the bedspread which Kevin assured me when in the office that it was underneath the bed storage. So when we arrived the following weekend to pick up the trailer I checked and the bedspread was not under the bed. I asked the service tech Rani about it, he said he would check with the sales office. He said management said that’s the way the trailer came that there was no bedspread. But the inventory checklist that came from Forest River stated there was a bedspread. I know it’s just a bedspread but it was not about the bedspread! They first tried to sell me a trailer I did not see and they promised me cutting boards for my sink which I did not get, they told me I had a bedspread which was not there. When I confronted Niles he got very loud with me, he said I did not appreciate the discount he gave me. What! the discount for a trailer I did not get to see that didn’t have the options I thought I was buying? Niles started yelling at my boyfriend after my boyfriend called him a liar and a few other not so nice words and told him not to talk to me like he was. Niles raised his fist like he was going to punch him, I thought my boy friend was going to unleash a can of whoop ass on Niles (it would of been all bad for the little weasel) Rani the shop tech and Zee the owner ran interference and Zee was yelling something in his foreign language at Niles and threw his clip board toward Niles, Niles ran or more like slithered his sleezy butt back inside while yelling back at Zee. Zee was pretty apologetic, he gave me my bed spread and we left. Now come tomorrow we are going to inspect the trailer ourselves just to make sure everything is tightened up and safe. Who knows what Niles is capable of doing, especially after being out smarted by a women! So my advice to you if you’re going to do business at this establishment, check your paperwork compare your Vin numbers, get it in writing or confirm/​get what it is they’re promising you before you sign papers and make sure you take your trailer home the same day! Oh one more thing, the heavy set girl up at the front desk with brown hair with blonde ends has horrible customer service manners, very short and rude! I guess I would probably be too if I had to work there.

Real simple. I traded in my 18 month old RV that I had bought from Best for a new RV from Manteca Trailer simply because of the lack of service. I’m sorry. I tried and tried. Great service from my new place.
On the other hand, their business model is simple. Give great pricing but give little service. You can’t get both. I just didn’t know that going in. Now you do.

I have had numerous trailers and always bought locally (Orange County) my family and I drove 5.5 hours because Best RV gave me the best price for the RV that we wanted. I did all my negotiation over the phone, we knew what 5^th wheel we wanted and they had it in stock. When we arrived we were met by the owner who greeted us and walked us to the unit we had negotiated on. I had my own Pre delivery inspection check list and I went through the entire 5^th wheel on my own and took notes on whatever needed to be adjusted. I took my time (2 hours to be exact)
The service dept worked on the minor repairs right away, I pointed them out and they took care of it. Jose, the service dept person was very helpful and knowledgable. He walked me through everything step by step. I bought all of my extra gear at Walmart so it was cheaper than their store. They did my hitch work and had 4 guys working on my truck at the same time. My truck needed a specific part to finish the hitch work that only «Ram» (Dodge) sells. These guys got in their car, drove to the RAM dealer, bought the part and installed it at no extra charge.
I know that other reviewers had bad experiences here but that was not my case. I went prepared and did not give them a check until I was sure that EVERYTHING worked on the 5^th wheel. I live 5 hours away so I will not be coming back unless I have to buy a new RV.

Thanks everyone for giving me a heads up on best rv center in Turlock, I was going to go there this weekend and purchase an rv me and my wife really liked that they had online.
Their reviews were bad enough but when I Google the owners name and find out he had several charges against his business practices I was shocked, I will never go there.

1 star is almost too much for this place. The sales dept. gets that one.
But on the other hand the service dept. is horrible.
Had bought new trailer and had some problems that were warranty items that I brought to there attention before the 1 year warranty expired. They dragged there feet in ordering the parts needed and finally had told me after countless phone calls that my warranty had expired and they would no longer repair trailer. Unknown why the have a A+ rating with the BBB because of so many negative compaints against them. Maybe the rating is more fee base than performance based. Will Never buy from these people again.

I was looking for a paricular trailer they had one I called said I will take it if you could check to see if it has a few items on it I spoke to Ricardo 3 times (I called him all 3 times because he never returned my call) He was «too busy“to see what generator it had but he would call back (not a chance)
I gave up the next day asked for a new salesman… Dan, Dan at least checked and eventually answered my questions. Great I will take it! What do I need to hold it? (I am 5 hours away) «we usually take 10% to hold a unit» says Dan. OK how can I pay. Dan put me on hold and came back and said…“Just fill out a credit ap and I will hold it until tomorrow. I did (815 FICA here) I called to confirm in the morning that he had all needed .“Yea all good here «Says Dan. «O.K. I say «I am leaving in 2 hours
I start driving 90 minutes and they have the RECEPTIONIST call me to tell me they sold the unit to someone else!!!
I had to turn around! I got a call from the Dan the salesman later saying oh well deposits, credit aps, don’t meann anything here. «If someone comes in they will sell it right out from under you» says Dan. That is bad enough but do decieve me thinking I had it on hold and about to spend almost 2 days to get it that NOTHING HOLDS ANYTHING!!! If they would have told me that at first I probably would have driven up the first day! not 2 days later
I have no idea if they were even being honest about the unit at all. There was NO customer service… Totally deceitful! They also admitted to it immediatly after i callled them on it. Like it was «business as usual» They constantly told me they were «too busy» to check I have no idea because I have not, and will not ever go there.
Do not believe ANYTHING they tell you because they will tell you WHATEVER you want to here to get you up there .Who knows what type of lies await in the «closing» both after a 5 hour drive!

Worst staff and experience ever!!!

Let me start by saying… «I should’ve taken Unilocal reviews to heart!» The sales department was good but the parts and service department lacks in customer service in every way. We purchased a trailer on Tuesday and had to return a part that we purchased and had a horrible encounter with Zee. He’s rude and unreasonable. After arguing with two service people and one accounting clerk, we were able to acquire a refund less a 20% restocking fee — Even after they specifically sold is the part that was especially for our trailer which DIDNT fit! Absolutely ridiculous. Please save yourself the headache and dont waste your time and money at this place!
